I've heard many professional duets of this beautiful opera and must say that although the sound quality is not the best, these two perfromed marvelously. You dont have to be an expert, just listen closely and you'll hear the harmony that their voice produce together. Very good performance of a very tough peice. Bravo.

I've got a pretty good ear, perhaps not opera trained (piano trained), and the only criticism that's worth making here is that the camera is low resolution and not worthy of the performance. C'mon, give 'em a break...it's beautifully done. Notice they sing as a DUET, not two competing soloists. Bravo!...from Chicago.

It's a little slower than it should be. The beginning is supposed to be sung quickly as if you're excited about where you are and what you're seeing. Almost as if you're discovering a wonderful secret. I do have to agree with rpscot. Your voices are beautiful and I love how they blend well. It's not always easy to find two singers who do a duet and don't sound as if their voices are competing. It goes nicely with the piece, since it's a piece about a new friendship. "all to hail us combining."

Your performance was outstanding! This is a very difficult piece to perform. Your rendition is incredible! I would KILL to see this piece performed, live! It's emotionally charged and harmonically, for lack of a better word, "orgasmic". I absolutely love this masterpiece. I have nothing but, admiration for performers willing to take this challenge. You blend as is intended and did not compete. BRAVO! I just wish the brunette had better taste in wardrobe! Ugh!

I said the their performance was orgasmic. To have actually have had one, I would have to have seen the performance live. If I close my eyes and just listen, I can avoid viewing the dress the brunette wore which was the only complaint I had with this performance and even then, I'd hardly call it a complaint. It's more or less just a suggestion for her to let someone else pick out her dress for any future videos. Otherwise, these girls are incredible!

I'd like to hear you try it. I am a classically trained first soprano and just listening to this made me get light headed... Their control is amazing. Breath management is perfect. Phrasing is spot on. It's hard to stay full when you're carrying phrases like that.

The blonde is too tense, she needs to loosen up and watch her breathing. How you breath is how you sing! Also, if you are performing do not lean on the piano, and do not where a strapless gown. Remember controll your breathing, and watch your dynamics, you are punching out a lot of high notes, you don't want to knock the socks off ur audience by scaring them. Good job! i give is a B+
