She was my favorite I grew up with her. I'm now 47 and she still entertains me. I don't think she ever made a bad movie. I wish that she Danny Kaye would have done a movie together. What a talent !

Yes, she was gorgeous...and likeable... and a much underappreciated singer... and a great dancer. I can remember seeing this movie in the mid-40s and at a very young age (8) I was just blown away. Fell in love with her and never got over it.
