I had the best of both worlds back then...No way was I limiting myself to watching just one organization when 4 or 5 of them aired shows in my area weekly! Whoooo!!
Sam Perkins and MJ at the end reliving their Carolina freshman days from 7 years previous after another spectacular Air Show by Jordan... Hahahaha Good Stuff mlynch07...
Michael Jordan was better than the Game, and if you doubted him he always proof the Critics Wrong. Never ever did a "Scoring Champ win a Championship' . He did that, Retired then came back Reaching Top again with 3 more Championships!! 7 straight Scoring Titles or Wilt did that. 3000 Points in a Season twice only Wilt did that , and he never lost in the Championships. The only Player to win the MVp of the League , Allstar Mvp, & Finals Mvp not once but twice. Only Shag did that once MJ Twice
@SwaggerLikeUz A few corrections: MJ only had 1 3,000+ scoring season (1986-87). Willis Reed was the first to win an All Star MVP, Regular MVP and Finals MVP in 1970
This guy was just too good...I mean don't get me wrong Kobe is good so is Lebron..but for me for someone to be better than MJ has to do shit we haven't seen MJ do. All Kobe does is imitate what MJ did...you can't say he plays better defense because he doesn't, he shoots better because he doesn't, he rebounds better because he doesn't...lol so for someone to be better than MJ he was to literally tear the league up consistently like MJ did. It took Kobe years to be compared
one thing I don't miss from this era were the busted cheerleaders LOL.
I hate that Derek Harper with his freakish looking face especially when winding to the officials. He was the hand check guru on the Knicks n probably a big part of y the rule was changed.

The funniest part of this is how MJ scores 41 and they only manage to win the game by eight points on their home floor. Talk about iron mixed with clay!
Yup, ugly but effective. I also liked the dunk by Will Vanderbilt @ 3:34! To those who don't know the story, MJ used to call Will Perdue that because he said he didn't deserve to be named after a Big Ten school. I think this dunk is actually the only points I've EVER seen him score!
Lebron would do better.. if he jus look at the damn basket!!LOL jus watch him when he shoots the free-throw lol ...I'm like, "what the hell u lookin at!"
@jxn23 Damn..that's sad...I keep telling people that LEbro is NOT going to win and championship until he can hit around 82% of his free-throws because SO MANY clutch situations come down to free-throws. People like Jordan, Kobe, Magic and Bird you felt comfortable with them at the line during clutch situations. With Lebron ? Hell No.lol.
Johnny Red Kerr at 7:09 "and it's a good thing he had those Air Jordans on the ground" LOL... I think kids who watched and listened to the game at that time asked their parents for a pair the next day.
Wow, thanks for uploading this -- never seen it before. Jordan was such a fantastic shooter from inside 22 feet even by that age (25-26). And of course another ho-hum 21-point 4th quarter for MJ lol.
i freakin luv the green mavs jersey from 80's

Why exactly did MJ get criticised for having a poor jump shot early in his career? He's got it all.

Cartwright free throw shooting has to be the worse in NBA history. The guy should not even try..just throw it up there.
robinho1979 3 years ago
Cartwright definately had one of the ugliest free throws in the league, but amazingly he shot 77.1% for his 15 year career.
That's better than LeBron!

Anytime Jordan has his fingers spread wide open going back down the court after hitting a jumper...it's always a long night for his opponents!
