The reason why the quality is different in RA2 and RA3 is cause RA2 was by westwood studios, then, RA3 was by EA, the quality may seem different, but the game's still fun. plus, RA2 you can use tesla tanks in MP mode unlike RA3.

I play this on the 360, still do to this day. They did a great job on the controls, it's amazing how simple an RTS game can be played on 360 once you get the hang of it. One minor annoyance though: When I fast build units from a structure in the dial-menu, it should let me place the RALLY POINT via DIAL-MENU too! Instead, I have to click on the actual building to give it a new rally point which is annoying!

I have to say I love playing as the allies, but DAMN I wish they had a freaking crane, they build so slow, but somehow, once you build your base, its pretty satisfying... until during the fifteen minutes you've been building your base the Soviets or Rising Sun have captured all the other resources and have changed all that ore goodness into Blimps (forgot how to spell its real name) and Shogun Battleships. And promptly turn your baseinto a crader in twenty seconds. *tear*

It just terrible that it was the first Red alert with an *offline expansion-aka new units you cant use-, and for the crazy people thinking is the fastest, wow, just wow. Never played Red alert 1 online huh?And the network system used in MP is pretty terrible-and i think thats why there are so few games going on in red alert 3.

AcesHigh59 u know for a console rts RA3 is actually pretty good. The interface is fine for basic move attack and build commands, and just okay for more advanced commands, and the unti cap Is only annoying if u like to build lots if infantry. Obvoiisly pc owns bc it's pc but if u can't afford a fancy pc then xbox is a decent solution, especially if you have slot of friends that play it.

i had this on xbox but its crap with 50 unit cap and although u get used to xbox controller its not as easy as a mouse and all factions rule it depends on how u use them and on wat map i think. plus u dont get user maps on xbox =(

people like ra2 because they are not smart.ra2 victory depends on the ammount of units and who is going to fire first but ra3 victory depends on strategies and special abbilites.in ra2 the apocalypse tank could beat every other tank but here it can get owned by a tesla trooper!ra2 is a game were u dont need skill u just need more units.ra3 graphics are awsome.ra3 has more units because ra2 has 9 countries but al allies have the same units and all soviets too.so ra3 has a variety of units too

@ilikepiedontu Old red dalert fans who probably never played any other rts games say that Red Alert 3 Sucks. Don't judge the game after you play few campaigns. You won't realize how great it is until you fully understand the game.

I have played ra1 when i was a kid, then I got ra2 and the campaigns were HELL lot of fun. Then I got Ra3 and campaigns were not surprisingly fun but the multiplayer .....thats when I realized that ra3 is the best out of the series.

Ra2 is slow because you either have a shit pc or you didnt turn off backbuffer.

Ra2 production quality is 10x better than this game. Sounds are much better, and thats the best the 2D could go than.

Ra2 has a faster and a better game play.

Spamming is fuking stupid, no macromanagement , no tactics just build and send and kill.

In red alert 3 spamming is not very used, lets say that you have a mirage tank spam, you can counter it with air, and sea. It's necessary to play the game with more strategy than producing and sending units.

If you played any other RTS you will notice that Ra3 is pretty fast paced. You will have no one to back you up.

if you wanna play this game with full graphics get the xbox 360 version you dont have to worry about ram and memory and graphics cards. Base building isn't slow either they have a whole new interface designed for the 360 so it is just as fast as the pc and i have played the pc version

@ThisNameIsNotUsed I sorta have to agree with you on that, I used to play alot of AoE on the PC a few years ago, then I got a 360 and played C&C Kane's Wrath and RE3, and it was a hell of a lot easier to click on the map to quickly respond to a situation or select a group that is in danger. It's such a pain in the ass to try to slowly scroll across the battlefield on the 360 back to your base to stop that one damn Blimp from destroying your base, just too lose your army and 1/2 your base.
