  • so its not harmful for anoles to drink sugar water ???

  • That there's a fine specimen of a female green anole

  • @Flyinbryan1619 um I'm going with no

  • Comment removed

  • would it be possible for one bird to be like a phsyco and sharpen its beak as sharp as a needle, and then attack the lizard, stabbing it all the way through, over and over and over, like on that movie "phsyco", and the lizard to scream bloody murder, but then against all odds survive the attack, kill the attacking bird, and feed its corpse to its lizard young, who would, after witnessing the attack on their parent, devour the carcass out of revenge, as much as out of hunger?

  • love it @0:41 watch the bird

  • nah, he probably knows they wont hurt him, all they can eat is the nectar. if one of those birds tried to eat him, it would probably choke and die

  • That lizard has balls being around those birds like like that

  • i saw the anole drink the sugar water in 0:12

  • wheres the action

  • Liked the video and the music. Just wondering why the sugar water is so cloudy?

  • i never saw a hummingbird in real life ;(sad i live in portugal yeah

  • Haha, I had no idea that anoles liked sweets. Good video.

  • lol 0:37 Bird's like "What is THAT?!"

  • great vid...both amazing species well done!! *5

  • because of this,im gonna sleep better tonight.loved it!

  • really cool. both species are really interesting. and the hummingbird is awesome. the music is relaxing lol

  • Very cool!

  • he looks like he likes the flavor or somthing.

  • Aww, poor little things! I think the anole is just as frightened as the hummingbirds!

  • @hankwheels no if the hummingbirds were frightened they would fly away. They are just trying to drink from that thing

  • Enjoyed. Thanks for posting. You may want to take a look at my videos.

  • haha, that's awesome!

  • don't be an ANOLE! just get off the drink!

  • the anole is cute!! ^^

  • wow i have a green anole in my cage right now (he must be sleeping)

  • I had my camera set up a couple of times, but the Hummingbirds seem to dissapear when I turn on my video cam.I'll get them this summer.

  • very bad title.. might have gotten more positive comments if the title was different because most people wouldnt have watched to see such "cute" nature stuff.

  • well its not like either species would actually fight the other

  • i would have not called it "VS" that makes me expect some thing else

  • Very enterprising Anole :)

  • LOL he is trying to drink the sweet water XD

    awsome vid

  • this sucks balls i wanted to see the anole get its head pecked open or some shit?

  • the songs gay

  • omg those hummingbirds are sooo anoying there such idiots.

  • i know i just want to kill one of those hummiing birdsdie die die

  • They are very territorial. Read up doofus

  • Interesting that the anole was drinking the sugar water and funny that the hummingbirds didn't like it. And there were so many of them! I envy you that.

  • aww, that's so cute! and there's so many humming birds! i wish my parents would start feeding birds again and that i could get a bat house and bird houses and a frog hatchery pond and all kinds of stuff! there is a dramatic absance of wildlife in my area. U@_@

  • graet vidio

  • do anoles shed?

  • yes

  • Yes.

  • im at 1:28 and i have a feeling he will strike and the music will change drmaticaly

  • Awesome vid, cheers for sharing!

  • :43 lol!

  • The green guy is clever and learned something. He might tell his children...

  • wat do you use to make a waterplace plese send a messege back to me

  • Anoles will drink that as it's sugar water not plain water in the hummingbird feeder. Ideally you should give your anoles sweet things as part of their diet such as honey or fruit baby foods cos they drink nectar and other sweet plant juices in the wild

  • wow i didnt know that i thought all they ate were insects

  • wow im surprised he drank that stuf

  • My anole won't drink that stuff, I even have never seen it sitting at his waterplace before.. =/

  • Wonderful video! I like the music you chose.

  • Mine never escaped but it did always bury itself under it's sand and made it look like he had escaped.

  • it didnt really look like they were fighting. i have 3 anoles and they are really cool

  • This video is amazing. Sending to my grandparents as they love humming birds. I think they will laugh their heads off. Also for the people considering getting an anoles - do it. They are amazing animals - lots of fun to watch. Not really "holding" pets. More for looks. I have TWO. They can escape if you open their cage too much. The more room you give them when taking the lid off the cage the more likely they will jump out. This clip was amzing.

    Thanks,

    Alex

  • That's classic! I think that is a LOL video!

  • cool

  • i have an anole as a class & home pet. my anole loves it when i give these GIGANTIC crickets. *shudders*

  • wow, are they really good at escaping? i wanted to buy some, but the last thing i need is anoles running around my house.

  • Get one. They don't actually escape that easily. They will try to jump and they can run fast but not so fast that you couldn't catch them. I used to take my anole out and hold it all the time.

  • I'm thinking about buying 5 but I heard they are excellent escape artists! That vid is AWESOME!!!!!

  • Bullcrap.

  • lol whats bullcrap???

  • bullshit

  • adorable!

    greetings from germany!

  • The anoles love dining at my feeders too.

They're cute! I have a photo of an anole and hummingbird eating together.:)

  • my green anole has a cut on its nose. I need a treatment. Please help me. he bleeds a little

  • ...we rub vitamin e from a capsule on our fingers, and pat the gel from the inside of the capsule gently onto the green anole's nose... this is the treatment we have tried for outdoor anoles. ask at the pet store if a little antiobiotic lotion is okay to use, i rub it into my hands prior to touching an anole anyway. anoles and cuban geckos like the expensive antiobiotic stuff with the eucalyptus scent best, usually.

  • so cool...

  • birds are the eyes and ears of heaven I enjoyed your video !

  • That's cute. I like green anoles and I have tons of them around where I live. Interesting to see how the humming birds react to the lizard.

  • WHAT AN UNUSUALLY BRAVE ANOLE!...or desperately sweet-toothed!

  • what a cute anole

  • I like this video. It's cool. I have 11 Green Anoles (not kidding) and they are all calm (like that one) with me around them.

  • hey man these arnt my type of animals but im not here 2 crytisize so nice vid

  • hehe he was just hungry :P

  • this is the best one I have watched...loved it! ty

  • This is a really lovely video. How neat that the anole is drinking from the hummingbirds' feeder. And I liked how you captured their reaction to the anole. Nice.

  • Awesome video! I love seeing all those hummingbirds together. How did you get so many to come around? What do you use in the feeder? Maybe they are just more common where you live. I'm in Wisconsin and my mom has a bunch of feeders but only 2 come around and they only stay for a few seconds.

  • Thanks. This is in Louisiana during the hummingbirds' migration to Mexico. At the height of the migration, I've seen as many as 30 hovering around 3 feeders at one time. The feeders just have sugar water (1/4 cup of sugar for each cup of water).

  • wow i didnt know anoles live in louisiana, i thought they were more tropical animals(im sure they can adapt) nice video.

  • thas so cool I 2 have a vid of a green anole, their so cool
