@RC62Scorch You have to understand that electronic drums don't determine the sound when using a midi program like ez drummer. The only thing it really effects is playability.
Hey Mikey, I love this kit and you are a great player too. We met at NAMM 2009. Question: when you "brought up" the brush kit did you do that on the Alesis or the laptop?
Hey I've been looking at these new edrums and they look rarther impressive the thing that appeals most to me as a drummer and engineer is the resemblance to a real kit.
The thing is on my kit i have up to 7 cybals on the go at a time. Is there anyway of putting 7 of the surge dual zone cymabals on one of these?
Hey Mikey....thanks for answering my questions re Ocean Way Drums.
That's great that they are doing smaller packs. I just got The Metal Foundry from Toontrack - so much to check out!! Wow!! I also now have Vintage Rock too.
By the way, your demo's are awesome! So much great info for everyone & always very clear & easy to understand. Keep up the great work !
hey can you please tell me what kit is that?

My gosh. Nice sounds. How is it with more cymbals (I'd like to have four tom set with atleast 5 cymbals+hats). So the question is, How?

I dream of the drums that just do not have enough money, I'm not a wealthy man of great drums

@totojazz1 oh, how expensive are these things?

You use Evans heads, why?
mkitch 2 years ago
Deep down, when I think about it... the company and the products from Evans really hits me a certain way. No pun intended!
But, honestly, I like their product offering. And the G2 Coated heads and the G2 Clear heads look stunning on my kit!

I am considering Evans but their big words might look odd on my wee little 8 inch drums :( lol

Hahaha... that may be true ;-)
Have you thought about upgrading your drums to at least some 10 inch RET drums? They are SWEET!

Hmm... I like Nashville a lot, and the Vintage Rock which is a little drier sounding, and the new Jazz EZX is great, too!
Get 'em all!

Hey Mikey...just a curiosity question.
Have you ever tried Ocean Way Drums? Do you know anything about them? They are much more expensive that others.
Let me know.....
Thanks,
Kim :)
PS: Love all your recent vids!

I haven't used OWD, but I've heard good things. They started doing smaller packs made up from the Big pack, so it's more affordable.
I have a copy of Ocean Way, but I just don't have the time to really use it!
Thanks for watching the new videos! What do you think?!
