I am actually quite happy to see this, cuz after watching so many ACF crashes and watching a plane surviving... It always makes me happy :) GOD BLESS...
Seriously, how fragile can a plan be? Just a few team of little birds can bring down such a big machine.. We need to seriously find a new safer way of travelling!!! Life's are at stake!!!!
Guess what I was in the flight of Hudson splash down a very bad I messages to my assasistant and said had a crash not ok cant speak write now I went on the write wing I had a new danger sinking!
@RickDev15 The plane is built by Airbus, the engines were CFM International's CFM56-5s, one of two engine types you can fit to the A320 (the other is the IAE V2500 series engine)
for crying out loud, every aci i watch plane spotting freeks coment "thats not an airbus cockpit" "dc10 but cockpit boeing lol" if you are all so clever, you should also know how the flight simulators are ment to train pilots not aci programmes, if a pilot is getting trained they are booked in and training is intensive, so the programme makers have to make do with what is available.... even if its a Mattel or fisherprice! get over it! rant over lol! =-D
oh, my goodness. How do we brace for impact? HEADS DOWN BETWEEN YOUR LEGS, HANDS GRABING YOUR ANGLES OR IF YOU LIKE HEADS FACE UP AGAINST THE BACKSEAT CHAIR IN FRONT OF YOU WITH YOUR HANDS CROSSED. WHY? BECAUSE I BIG BALL OF FIRE WILL COME CRASHING THROUGH THE CABIN AND YOU DON'T WANT TO BE IN ITS WAY!!!!!!!
@GuruOfGreatness97 Cabin crew have full body harnesses so they dont bend down - usually they sit backs to the front which is a better way to absorb an impact anyway but she is sitting side ways - not good in a crash.
I remember seeing this on the news like it was yesterday...
My deepest respect to "Sully" Sullenberger for masterfully ditching that plane into the Hudson...I'm still amazed that the engines didn't scoop up the water and break the fuselage apart.
I've been waiting for a ACI episode of this for a long time...it's just as cheesy and dramatic as I expected it would be!
Love how the passengers open the front doors themselves. Um - I think maybe the highly trained flight attendant sitting by the forward door would have actually opened it... MAybe I'm being silly.
Um the cabin crew don't speak the safety demo as they do it do they? It's either pre-recorded or a flight attendant speaks into the PA. Also the cabin crew don't do a safety demo until everyone is sat down and buckled in and the aircraft is taxiing. There is a guy standing up at the bin and the flight attendant is just doing the demo - thats not very likely. I think you guys need a technical advisor for your cabin scenes!
@Blazy9 cause usually the passengers are least interested to listen and look to the flight attendand when he/she showing and telling them about what to do in emergencies in the beginning of flight.
Emailing to say 'I love you' in an emergency. Great idea dickhead, use electronics that could interfere with systems when the crew need them most. I bet he's one of the selfish cunts we saw standing on the wings after ditching with his fucking hand luggage or with his life jacket on back to front. If I was ever able to survive an emergency with a guy like this, right after kissing the ground my next action would be to punch his teeth down his throat.
@Experiment47 You need to fly more. I've flown hundreds of flights on dozens of carriers and never once have I seen that included in the pre-flight briefing. It's on the safety cards, sure, but no one bothers to read them. I know how to brace for impact but don't be an idiot and assume everyone else does. Pay attention to the next briefing you get and see if it's in there. That's if you've even ever set foot on an aircraft.
I've been on plenty of aircraft thanks and have seen the brace position shown loads of times. The last airline I was on was Air New Zealand and had to watch this god-damned awful performance, but sure enough the brace position is shown:
@TUUK2006 You need to fly more. All flights I've been on shows the brace position. This includes Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Qatar Airways etc. Even cheapo airlines show it.
