  • the a320, the SAFEST airliner in service! and sully, your a hero!

  • i was on the plane i was 19 and it was scary

  • @funnyguy1ize Dang that's remarkable, how was the impact?

  • i was on the plane i was 19 ans it was scary

  • 0:36 Dude, we're falling right out of the sky! WE'VE GOTTA DROP THE LOAD!!!

    =P

  • WOW THIS AIRCRAFT CAN FLOAT!!! COOL!!!

I am actually quite happy to see this, cuz after watching so many ACF crashes and watching a plane surviving... It always makes me happy :) GOD BLESS...

  • Seriously, how fragile can a plan be? Just a few team of little birds can bring down such a big machine.. We need to seriously find a new safer way of travelling!!! Life's are at stake!!!!

  • @saintvictorie There is no such thing as 100% perfect. You are much safer flying than driving down the expressway.

  • Guess what I was in the flight of Hudson splash down a very bad I messages to my assasistant and said had a crash not ok cant speak write now I went on the write wing I had a new danger sinking!

  • I think the birds got court in the engines1

  • the real ATC controller is hot

  • 00:16 KFC For all

  • it is in the guinesse world record

  • Airbus A320s don't have GE engines

  • well technically its a GE designed engine CFM56-5

  • @almeidabryanshine A320s use iae engines

  • I Wish That I had that simulaor LOL

  • I like the music that comes on when he says " okay, let's go!".

  • Al qaida later announced tht they sent the goose!!

  • "We had no idea how to brace. . ." - Every flight I go I focus on each explanation of the safety measures as if they were my first.

  • Capt: 'Got any ideas?'

    FO: 'Actually....not.'

  • poor bridies

  • Why doesn't it have winglets? 0:05

  • @SAMCAMJAIK1

Maybe Nat Geo was too lazy to model it.

  • AIRBUS is a good plane

  • @cugierkoteczka If it isn't a Boeing, I'm not going.

  • @ atomicnorthener but the training i also in the exact replica of the planes cockpit so all aci had to do was go to an a 320 trainer and do it their

  • These episodes are directed better than most Hollywood movies =(

  • @RickDev15 The plane is built by Airbus, the engines were CFM International's CFM56-5s, one of two engine types you can fit to the A320 (the other is the IAE V2500 series engine)

  • An amazing story.

  • That's NOT the cockpit of an Airbus

  • for crying out loud, every aci i watch plane spotting freeks coment "thats not an airbus cockpit" "dc10 but cockpit boeing lol" if you are all so clever, you should also know how the flight simulators are ment to train pilots not aci programmes, if a pilot is getting trained they are booked in and training is intensive, so the programme makers have to make do with what is available.... even if its a Mattel or fisherprice! get over it! rant over lol! =-D

  • wrong cockpit.

  • one person was fishing on the river that day

  • Amazing that goose still had time for one surprised honk as it went into the engine.

  • What the hell... who did that cockpit? Thats not even close to the A320 windshield frames.. its not even consistent with the outside views!

  • what a idiotic fagg, ofcause you have to brace..

  • oh, my goodness. How do we brace for impact? HEADS DOWN BETWEEN YOUR LEGS, HANDS GRABING YOUR ANGLES OR IF YOU LIKE HEADS FACE UP AGAINST THE BACKSEAT CHAIR IN FRONT OF YOU WITH YOUR HANDS CROSSED. WHY? BECAUSE I BIG BALL OF FIRE WILL COME CRASHING THROUGH THE CABIN AND YOU DON'T WANT TO BE IN ITS WAY!!!!!!!

  • Did the geese died?

  • @MrRazorblade999 duh, they were shredded.

  • @howardflight09 Oh! couldn't they do cpr or something?

  • all the passengers are in brace position and the cabin crew woman is just sitting upright

  • @GuruOfGreatness97 Cabin crew have full body harnesses so they dont bend down - usually they sit backs to the front which is a better way to absorb an impact anyway but she is sitting side ways - not good in a crash.

  • The pilots were very good and took the emergency very calmly and professionaly.

  • I remember seeing this on the news like it was yesterday...

My deepest respect to "Sully" Sullenberger for masterfully ditching that plane into the Hudson...I'm still amazed that the engines didn't scoop up the water and break the fuselage apart.

I've been waiting for a ACI episode of this for a long time...it's just as cheesy and dramatic as I expected it would be!

  • 4:45 They're not going to like the view of the Hudson they get in about 10 minuets

  • ATC's SMS to his wife: Had a crash, I'm not OK, can't talk now.

    This is so ICECOLD!

  • One goose disliked this...

  • @MyDeadringer haha lol

  • Did the birds own the plane or the plane own the birds?

  • @Aizenvsanyonedontmix They both owned each other I guess

  • Love how the passengers open the front doors themselves. Um - I think maybe the highly trained flight attendant sitting by the forward door would have actually opened it... MAybe I'm being silly.

  • @douglasrenkbrook Eeh, it wouldn't make a difference. They're actually taught how to open the doors before take off in case they need to do it.

  • Um the cabin crew don't speak the safety demo as they do it do they? It's either pre-recorded or a flight attendant speaks into the PA. Also the cabin crew don't do a safety demo until everyone is sat down and buckled in and the aircraft is taxiing. There is a guy standing up at the bin and the flight attendant is just doing the demo - thats not very likely. I think you guys need a technical advisor for your cabin scenes!

  • I love how the captain answer the tower with a cold cold blood voice!

  • @JMsoo

    i liked it tooo :D

  • Why didn't they know the brace position....

  • @Blazy9 cause usually the passengers are least interested to listen and look to the flight attendand when he/she showing and telling them about what to do in emergencies in the beginning of flight.

  • @hussey00 My point. They NEED to listen to the flight attendant. It's not a choice.

  • @Blazy9 Exactly!

  • and hold up GE engines? I thought all of US Airways' A320 fleet uses IAE engines?

  • lol why didn't they interviewed Sully?

  • they also didnt include the part where the ATC kept calling 1549, 1529

  • that passenger who was interviewed seems kinda selfish...

  • lol, this is a MD-80 cabin.

  • 10:51 where the heck is the George washington bridge?!

  • The actor playing the captain really looks and sound like the real dude

  • @priyonjoni Not sure, but it looks like they're playing themselves.

  • A320 has a DITCH button to prevent water coming into cabin. did pilot forget to push the DITCH button?

  • @BlueTrep It was one of the last thing on their checklist, and they didn't have time to finish it.

  • @BlueTrep

it is on the bottom of the checklist, they just didn't get down to it in the short time.

  • @BlueTrep they couldn't have shown that the ditch button was pressed. Ditch button is the last thing they hit before leaving the airplane cockpit

  • Thanks for the upload!

  • nice cockpit window from the insdie

  • Emailing to say 'I love you' in an emergency. Great idea dickhead, use electronics that could interfere with systems when the crew need them most. I bet he's one of the selfish cunts we saw standing on the wings after ditching with his fucking hand luggage or with his life jacket on back to front. If I was ever able to survive an emergency with a guy like this, right after kissing the ground my next action would be to punch his teeth down his throat.

  • good ! video thanks ! i remember waching this on the news! :)..

  • good ! video thanks ! i remmember waching this on the nes! :)..

  • Come on! How can you not know how to brace for impact, they show you at the start of every fucking flight.

  • @Experiment47 You need to fly more. I've flown hundreds of flights on dozens of carriers and never once have I seen that included in the pre-flight briefing. It's on the safety cards, sure, but no one bothers to read them. I know how to brace for impact but don't be an idiot and assume everyone else does. Pay attention to the next briefing you get and see if it's in there. That's if you've even ever set foot on an aircraft.

  • I've been on plenty of aircraft thanks and have seen the brace position shown loads of times. The last airline I was on was Air New Zealand and had to watch this god-damned awful performance, but sure enough the brace position is shown:

    watch?v=7-Mq9HAE62Y

  • @TUUK2006 You need to fly more. All flights I've been on shows the brace position. This includes Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Qatar Airways etc. Even cheapo airlines show it.

  • @Experiment47 they dont, its in the handbook thing your supposed to read.. but obviously most people dont..

  • Pilot's a beast!!!

  • thanks for uploading

  • Thank you for this episode. Very good quality.
