no, because they are independent states now, tibet was different because it was conquered in the qing dynasty and never became independent so it was conquered territory that was lost and then regained. but vietnam was conquered territory that was lost and became independent so it cant be regained unless if they start a war which is highly unlikely.

Family disputes are best solved from within the family and not by outsiders, and that is why we westerners should mind our own business and not be intrusive.

no, because they are independent states now, tibet was different because it was conquered in the qing dynasty and never became independent so it was conquered territory that was lost and then regained. but vietnam was conquered territory that was lost and became independent so it cant be regained unless if they start a war which is highly unlikely.

Well I have met Indeginous Tibetans in my country and they tell me different, especially in the light of the last crack down by China in Tibet in which hundreds of Tibetans were slaughtered & thousands jailed for hundreds of years. As for Taiwan, er nothing is complicated there mate, they simply DO NOT want to be part of communist oppressive China. Oh, do you know what happened to an African married to a Chinese Woman in China, when they have two kids?

Yes, I have met many exiled Indeginous Tibetans in my country (they fled the oppressive chinese occupying their land Tibet) & they have expressed their dislike for Chinese occupation of their land. Those Tibetans who want Tibet to be independent are supporters of privileged class who owned slavers in Tibet 50 years ago. When PLA liberated Tibet like other parts of China during the war, these Tibetans did't fight back like PLA was "invading" Tibet. It was years later, when Chinese carried out "socialistic reform" which aimed to eliminate the rich class, those privileged didn't want to live like ordinary people. The result is they fled to India and their slavers were free.

Right. Because monks rioting through the streets burning houses and killing Han is perfectly normal behavior. The situation is completely dissimilar. When the US forcefully annexed Hawaii and the Philippines, there was no mercy. Thousands were killed--and moreover, neither of those was historically American. Tibet is historically part of China, and always had very close relations. China has poured billions into that little chunk of land. And still does.
