  • you guys sould make more jetty fishing vids

  • Nice fishing.. Check it out . If you like fishing , go to Facebook to the group page( socal fishingbuddies) join the group , e

We have fun fish all over the place, jettys , surf fishing , boats, rocks, lake, surf fly fishing, ect.. It's free for any body who likes to fish .. See you there...

  • are u guys fishing inside the harbor or outside?

  • THats cool. what kind of camera did you use to make this video?,

  • nice fish try going for calicos

  • @ megaasdeq I hate faggots that cry foul right away whenever people catch a shorty. Give them a moment to enjoy the fact that they caught a fish. Fishermen know the size limits. They don't need to hear your pissing and moaning about it not being big enough. Catch your own damn fish then you can talk about other people's catch. But I would probably just bust you in the mouth.

  • first off a halibut of that size would never fight for 5 to 10 minutes. i work on a sport boat and ive seen a 40 pound halibut caught in less than 4 minutes, and you guys didnt even catch that on a swimbait. the line that you said you used as a stringer was atatched to your rod plus you said that you had a boogie board leash to use as a stringer, and the simbait wasnt atatched to a line at all. so you guys are full of shit.

  • hehe

  • What street is this in Newport? Any advice for a beginning ocean fisherman?

  • @MrMilkdud65 easy tip ask local tackle shops whats biting and good lures to use. good fishing!!!!

  • a big halibut is 300 lbs kids. . .

  • @o56kid You're thinking of Pacific or Atlantic Halibut, The halibut these dudes are fishing for is the California Halibut, and uncommonly exceeds 30 inches in length. California Halibut are the pacific coastline relative of the Summer Flounder, which is caught in the gulf.

  • actualy has to be 22 in

  • cool vid!,... how much weight did u use?

  • can anyone tell me what to use for catching halibut off jetty message me thanks

  • @megaasdeq I hate people like you that come around and tell everyone that their fish is undersize. Just let the guy enjoy the fact that he caught a fish. It's all about the sport. I've been fishing the Oceanside Pier for 5 years and people still want to come and tell me that my fish are undersized as if I don't know. I want to punch people like you in the mouth. Catch your own damn fish before you talk about other people's catch.

  • nj FISHERMANN HALIBUT IS 24 INCH LIMIT YEAR ROUND

  • R YOU GUYS SAC THAT HALI WAS NAWT EVEN CLOSE TO LEGAL AND THAT IS A 3 INCH SEXY SMELT NOT A SARDINE

  • @BECKFEARNLEY The Hali is deffinetly legal Not by much, they should have measured it, but its around 24 the legal limit is 22 just it was stupid of them not een to measure it

  • @TheHellraiserDLX We had the lifegaurd measure it

  • what tower is that and how far out? where do you reccomend going out for the halibuts? i have a variety of 3 inch big hammer swim baits but i usually catch a ton of spottys in the bay, i havent really tried the jettys.

  • Good Video keep um coming!

  • hooked right in the lip..

  • where do u get swim bates and can it catch striped bass? Nice fish too

  • @tewinklefisher we caught the halibut on the big hammer and once we found out it was legal we hooked it again on or bait rig cause we didn't have a stringer.

  • @FishingOnFuego dude yep then y didnt u take the vid wen u 1st cot it in stead of after

  • @FishingOnFuego dude yep then y didnt u take the vid wen u 1st cot it in stead of after and plus y would u risk it getting off with a hook and then u say o i gotta boogy bord leash u shood just use that u cot it on bait

  • wow that halibut is not legal its 18in max. and there are maybe 60 diff colors of 3in hammers you were useing the sexy smelt color

  • @megaasdeq It was legal we took it to the life guard to measure it we only kept the one at 1:16

  • @megaasdeq i thought 18 in was the limit for summer flounder and halibut was something else correct me if i'm wrong

  • @megaasdeq Why do u fucking keep all your fish its gay your killing all your fish and good job stepping on the halibut im sure he apreciated that

  • wat kind of rod is that

  • those were 3 in big hammer swimbaits, color: sexy smelt and the bass are called spotted bay bass and the halibut have to be 22 inches

  • @FishingOnFuego that sux dude. I'm a big fan I think I did...

  • @FishingOnFuego ooohhh I see it ok cool. I think I'll get that one and the pacific chovy color and see how they do. Idk y but I always like the anchovy color in my lures. Thanks bro! Fish on! Btw what happened to TheOceanFuego? Y don't u put ur Mexico vids on it?

  • @3boredudes Not enough People subscribed and stuff

  • @FishingOnFuego sweet man what color is it? I cant tell in it,

  • @3boredudes I don't know but there are only a few different colors of 3in big hammers

  • @FishingOnFuego they make over 20 types of 3 inch swimbaits

    you LIE

  • @FishingOnFuego yes like 16 bucks a lure. I have heard they r very good lures though. Do u think that the 4" hammers would work for the bottom stuff?

  • @3boredudes not for the spotted bass but most likely halibuts but the color we have in this video works the best, trust me

  • @FishingOnFuego cool, what color is it?

  • @3boredudes I don't Know one sec i'll send you a link in a personal message

  • Hey guys, two things. One, what length big hammers do u guys use? And two, have u used the Lucky Craft California InShore fishing pointer crankbait? If so, is it good?

  • @3boredudes 3 inch. and the lucky crafts are good but very expensive so if you lose them its not good.

  • Nice! You guys can teach me many things about the sport, so I subscribed. Let me know where you guys like fishing the most. I personally do almost all of mine in the salt but I'll go to the lake occationally. If you don't mind, I will ask questions about what to buy and get ur opinion on it. Thanks for great vids!!!

  • Ya I was looking at those and I'm not too keen on soft baits, but iv read real good things about em so I might try em out. What do u guys catch with those swimbait besides the fish in the vid?

  • @3boredudes Sanbass, Barracuda, along with Calico Bass

  • All righ those r the ones I use. I just started fishing the jetties (today) and I didn't get one. Lots of kelp, bad conditions, lost a Kroc on my second cast snagged on the bull kelp. Ah well. What weight of spoon do u guys fish?

  • @3boredudes 2oz but honestly you should be using big hammer swim-baits on the jetty they work a lot better

  • What r ur guys favorite hardbaits, spoons, and dead bait for halis?

  • @3boredudes The only thing out of the 3 you named that we use for them are spoons and we use Kasmasters along with Keocidile spoons, We don't use dead baits beacause halibut only eat moving baits.

  • good job guys, inshore fishing at its finest!

  • we have a newport in oregon too lol

  • @colbybassmaster a few freinds were fishing brookings harbor last month and were hooking 15+ lb halibut we they threw then back though

  • NICE
