In Mexico 5 de Mayo is conmemorated not celebrated, only banks and schools close that day. Should Americans celebrate 5 de Mayo? Considering France would have used Mexico to start a war with the US, yes you should. The french were defeated in Mexico after years of intervention(aren't Americans lucky?) They did have their sight on the southwest.

Cinco De Mayo is like any other Mexican holiday;it's just another excuse to get drunk! Most Mexicans don't even know what the holiday represents(besides getting drunk) Just ask them! I have and most of them don't know that it's when the French army retreated and gave up trying to rule Mexico,but they do know it's a day to get shitfaced drunk!

Make your titles more descriptive! You're making your videos hard to navigate with just numbers. If this said "Cinco de Mayo" in the title, people who were looking for Cinco de Mayo stuff would be more likely to find it. Please, please, please??

I'm no history buff but cinco de mayo represents the day mexico helped the union win the american civil war. They did so by winning some battle that prevented the french from supporting the confederacy (who produced their textiles).
