  • you state that 2 facts are; 1, everybody will die, and 2 Everybody will be resurrected and judged. now correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't that mean you would of have to known someone who was resurrected or there being evidence supporting this statement to actually make it a "Fact" Sorry but even if you are religious it will still remain a theory not a definitive fact. Btw i'm atheist :D No offence to other religions

  • @danthevick I'm not religious either, but I see what you're saying. I cannot prove it to you, but it's been proven to me spiritually. It's hard to explain, but if you're born again of the Spirit, then you know that there is a resurrection. You're able to see that it's impossible for there to not be a God and for there to not be a resurrection. You probably think you'll never be born again, but it can still happen to you. Thank you for your cordial reply.

  • @scottpastry Prove the future? Can't do that until the future comes, and by then, it'll be too late to change the present.

  • @SusannaChelcias so why would anyone decide to listen to your claims if you cant prove them?? the only real proof we have is that giving women the choice has the most beneficial outcome for society, so it stands to reason we make decisions based on that evidence... not the supernatural, superstitious claims of a single person.

  • @scottpastry said, "most beneficial outcome for society"

I think the unborn members of society would disagree with that assessment.

  • @SusannaChelcias fetuses are members of society now?? hmmmmmm......... i suppose you wanna give human rights to sperm too??

  • @scottpastry No worries. I'm not one of those over zealous types. According to scripture, contraception is only a sin unto death when it's used in a Levirate marriage before the husband has created a baby for his deceased brother.

  • @SusannaChelcias yeah and according to scripture, leprosy is treated with animal sacrifice....... and rape victims should submit to their rapist for marriage....... completely redundant, thats why we pay less and less attention to it.

  • @scottpastry said "rape victims should submit to their rapist for marriage" ~~~~~~~~~~ "FORCE her" (Deu 22v25) FORCE = chazaq This is rape. If she is betrothed or married: rapist was stoned to death. If she is neither betrothed nor married: not in Torah. "LAY HOLD on her" (Deu 22v28) LAY HOLD = taphas This is consensual intercourse. In this case, they would marry. But her father could refuse to give her to him (Exo 22v16-17).
  • @SusannaChelcias what bible are you using??

  • @scottpastry KJV + Strong's concordance. The words I cited ("chazaq" and "taphas") are the original Aramaic words. This is one of those cases where the English translation can be a little misleading.
