  • you let a woman drive!?!

  • with the price of gas these days, thats a pretty expensive trip...

  • i was expecting a horrible crash result

  • Wow, you have some patience. I would have slit my wrists halfway there. I don't have the patience for long car rides.

  • interesting i did this ride from seattle to miami, once, and an bus from northern grande prairie alberta to miami, good post

  • Should'a time lapsed it man! dissapointed face :(

  • type gift before yuoutube

  • very cool

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhh but guys i live in Afghanistan.....

  • I found this video on urlesque.com

    Great editing. Awesome video.

  • pretty badass

  • Wow. This concept is pretty cool. I think I'll try it for my St. Pete-Bali trip! How much editing do you do! Ha. Lot's I'm sure. Some places were pretty easy to identify, but others were! Would have been great!.

  • I live in NC!!!

  • haha, I see a lot of the El Paso mountains :) there by any chance?!

  • love the phish song! goes great with the video

  • i Live in washingtonnn!!!!

  • Congratulations, so do 6.6million other people, including me.

  • Very Good Idea!!! (-;

  • good idea and cool video! yeah, perhaps next time include a little text saying where each place is but still 5* :)

whats the song by the way?

  • Nice idea, but would have been much more enjoyable to know where you were at each shot, or at the very least see a map of the route you took. nice nonetheless.

  • Nice.

Always wanted to see the States, :)

  • Beautifull EEUU , greatings from chile !!

  • Fantastic video! (And I love the Birmingham shot at 0:58.) Five stars! :)

  • Its through america not england

  • Birmingham, ALABAMA. Which is in the United States. Dumbass.

  • WHOO ~~~)

  • aw. I was expecting a time lapse.

  • @kevinriley17 me too ..hahah

  • thats awesome i go through the place with dinosaur all the time its between arizona and new mexico

  • Really great video! Thanks for sharing.

  • On 2003 ai drove from Orlando FL to Los ANGELES!!

    that's a hell of a drive !!! I dont think I'll do it again !!

  • Imagine how much gas for the whole trip cost.

    I don't envy you.

  • 4000 miles divided by 20 miles per gallon = 200 gallons, 200 gallons .

    200 gallons x $3 a gallon = $600.

600 divided by 2 for the 2 people

300 bucks each, pretty cheap really.

    300 divided by 4000 = 0.075

less than 8 cents per person per miles is a pretty good deal if you ask me.

  • Of course not including food, traffic, ect ^-^

  • lol nah but still, this guy was complaining about the cost of gas, and thats based on 20 miles per gallon which is almost a worse case scenerio type situation, it would probably cost half that.

This is a cheap way to see a lot though if you have the time.

  • 3 dollars per gallon? wow that's cheap.

  • 00:38 is Portland, OR! Best city in the US

  • portland is the best city in america. GO BLAZERS!!!

  • ths is a cool vid

  • rofl, you didn't make her drive the whole thing did you?

  • fuck you i thought its speeded up

  • *Sped*

  • sure it is ,sure it is ,Asshole

  • Woot, K Vegas

  • its fake!!! u need loads of meth to go there and back in such a short time dude.

  • you moron, they didnt actually go 4600 miles in 2 minutes.

  • woot.

  • omfg

  • There was a monster!

  • Your experiment was awesome, loved it.

  • Is the song from Phish?

  • yeah

  • at 0:55...

driving on the wrong side of the road?

  • ...too bad 80% of your footage was mostly the Western United States. Though you did finally reach NC at the end. But shit man, most of the clip looked like a weekend excursion of the West.

  • @champloo9 Good thing most of it was in the west. The east is the past, the east is stale. The future lies in the west. The innovation, the natural beauty, economic and cultural growth? That's only in the west.

  • You should see canada

  • America is beautiful!

  • ummm, im sorry but: 2.2 minutes = 2:12 2.3 minutes = 2:18 2:17 is alot closer to 2.3 minutes than 2.2...

    Sorry, I like Math...

  • hahahahaha burn. "I like turtles."

  • its ok it just means while our brains are rotting yours is gona be ...... not rotting

  • i love road trips, but i swear it takes a toll on the body.

  • I'd love to do this myself sometime.

I take it that wasn't in sequential order?

  • How did they do that in 2.2 minutes, fake!

  • LOL!

Yea man, this had to be edited!! No way you can drive that far in 2.2 min... FAKE!!

    lol

  • wow, your dumb...

  • lol... Why are you calling me dumb? My message about the video being fake was a joke, obviously. And my other message about south/central america is true. You don't drive through south or central america to get to seattle from NC. Maybe you drive through South or Central US during that time, but south america is a continent. Seems to me like you're the dumb one.

  • South America is a continent? i didn't know that. ^.-

    Missed the sarcasm

    my bad

4600 miles in 2.2 minutes mean they you have to be going about 35 miles per second. an impossible speed on earth...

  • lol... Yea, i said it as a joke cuz everyone likes to watch vids like this and make dumb comments like "OMG IT'S FAKE!".. lol. Now look at dumbass "InfernoplexTom" who commented. He really thinks that we believe they traveled 4600 miles in two minutes. So he leaves a comment and thinks he taught us something. It's comical.. really... lol.

  • America has everything - it's like taking a trip around the world in 1 country.

  • I don't see any South, or Central America footage?

  • ... those are continents. did you see the end of the clip?

  • I know this i was replying to a comment made by Elvisbloke read his comment and you see what am talking about

  • look at the end..it says that he's going from south carolina to seattle, wa

  • North Carolina

  • That's cuz you don't have to drive thru south or central america to get to Seattle WA from North Carolina.

  • I know this i was replying to a comment made by Elvisbloke read his comment and you see what am talking about

  • jesus, what a beautiful drive!

  • That's downtown Birmingham Al at :58 the power company building at xmas.

  • whoa are you serious?dude thats awesome...i need to rewind and see that agian....

  • i think i would through up before reaching 10000 miles .....

    what a trip

  • trip of a lifetme

  • I hope to do this one day!

I live in England, and these landscapes are so amazing and alien to me it's hard to not be drawn in.

  • boo!!

  • awsome video , hope i can do the same in the future

  • Fantastic. A coworker sent me a link to your commoncraft videos, and now I'm beginning to browse you other work. This is an amazing piece with a pitch perfect song choice. What a mood! I love the angle switches/passes. The incidental moments captured therein, I think, are what our memories take from such long trips. We don't remember every minute and mile, but we do remember amazing rainbows and diving birds. On to your next video...

  • nice video

  • I thought it would be in sequence - from east coast to west coast. Seems to be pretty random.

  • Cool video must of taken ages to make.

  • Cooooool. Thanx.

  • fascinating thanks you

  • nice video :) thanks!
