I do understand why you wanna have a good instrument, after 1,5yrs i owned a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser FR by myself (was always my dream), but why do you need that overkill amp? I bought a Line6 PodXT used for 130€, and even with my 15w Line6, it does a great job and is perfect when playing at home. See that? Great instrument + affordable sound. But well, if i would shit money, i'd do the same.

The gain is up way to high on that amp. For this kind of stuff through a Dual Recto, you only need to have the gain at about 5/6, mid at about the same, treble at round 7/8 and the bas at around 8/9.

Play around with it and find the way you like it, just don't get to gain happy.

neil used to have an SG, now he uses a hellraiser c1 in black cherry. and tom used to have a c-1 elite (white), then hellraiser c1 (black) i think, and now uses a hellraiser tempest or solo (white). btw nice cover!

2 things:

first, get a gate. Boss NS-2 for like $50 used. Trust me. You need it.

second, sounds like you're going out of tune a lot. Get some thicker strings on there. Sounds like they're really floppy.
