My talents only go as far as drawing from a reference picture. I actually had to make comics for an assignment in my second semester English class in college. Needless to say, I failed that assignment. I wish I could just create something out of my head, but my artistic talents are just too limited.

That is true. It takes a lot of practice and patience to get to the point where you can draw without a reference, but I just don't have the patience, and since I started this semester of college, I definitely haven't had the time.
