Yes HughT08 you are correct. When we made this video we purposefully turned off the automatic dimension that goes to the hole on the plate to highlight the customizability in editing of drawings. The replaced dimensions should have gone to the hole though. The sharp edge can be chamfered in the model too. The detailer who made the structure in this video told us he worked for a fabrication shop that rounded sharp edges anyway so didn’t feel the need to show extra dimensioning for the chamfer.
Good overview of the product, but I do have a couple of observations. You show creating a dimension to the sharp edge of a fin plate, this is not good practice as this dimension should be shown to the hole centre or alternatively the top straight edge of the fin plate not the point!
Fin plates should not have a sharp pointed edge as it is a potential hazard when handling and also continuity of the weld is hampered. The sharpened edge should be sheared to create a small straight edge.
