i dont use condoms i have been with my bf for a while plus we live together ,, and he dosent use the pull out method he finishes inside and so far 3 years without me getting pregnant i got 2 more years till i need a new mirena ... i think is awesome birth control
i love my mirena ,, i get bloated but wat ever i deal with it ,,, i had it going on 3 years now and ever since i got it i dont get my periods ,, once in a great while i get spotting but its a day or two but its mostly because the bf is too rough sometimes ....but i love it no complains ,,
I been using Mirena for 1year and 3months its been really painful having it the reason i havent had the time to take it out is becaz my parents up My bizzness 24/7 my bf foes feel it at time while having sex, the results are really good tho i cant complain bt jst the pain i do hate. I was wondering how much you did feel it sitting down, during sex, and if it was painful, or if you just felt it there. Did it make sex any less enjoyable (besides the time it cut your partner)? Or did cutting the strings help at all?

Since I made this video I had a 30 day heavy bleeding period. In that period my mirena came out and it was very painful! My parents realized how painful it was for me and now i am on birth control pills. I haven't had any trouble with them and ive been on the pill for about 2 months after this video. My parents and I would not recommend this for any one!
I am sure your parents love you so much that they made you insert Mirena. I had Mirena for 5 years and I just changed for a new one. It is a great way to be safe and I belive you dont´want any more kids for now. You are so young and pretty, listen to your parents, I used to think mine were dumb but I was very wrong, they are wise and just want to help us. Now that you have a baby you will understand them better. Hope you and your baby are fine, have a happy life.
When I first got it my boyfriend could feel it in certain positions. After having it for almost 5 years I can tell you by year 3 he could no longer feel it it.. bent or something. I had it checked and they said its still in the correct position. Your lucky that you didn't take depo it causes weight gain and a lot of women experience mood swings and heavy bleeding. Myself I got pregnant.
why did you let your parents talk you into getting it? there are plenty of other birth control methods that might work better for you. this just sounds so miserable :(
You scared me when u said u were getting your strings trimmed because then u cant check it. For me Dr. did not tell me to come back for check u 4 weeks or the every year check up as result never checked for 2 years. Been so sick in bed since Nov. it June now. Demanded they take it out and of course it not there, ultrasound no find, internal scan find now have to wait 3 months for Dr. to take out. So gonna be sick all summer. I HATE THIS THING BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. I WANT IT OUT NOW !
hey this is Jam if you are feeling the strings then they did not cut them short enough but it is easily fix just by shortening the strings and curving them up around your cervix when i first had it done my husband could feel them however eventually your body forms mucus around them he cant even feel them any more also acne and weight gain are side effect of mirena i gained a few pounds while on it i also wanted to thank you for sharing your story keeping people inform will help others out thanks
