Can someone pleaaaaaaase tell me why they always lay a piece of paper on their drawing? 2:35 :)

@Liiezellx This is to avoid touching the pastel already you applied so you have to protected with special paper, but in this case since i didn't have it I used wax paper. Also when you are drawing with pencil and you are shading you have to do the samething in order to protect the drawing. Thanks for watching and for asking ;D

@Liiezellx the paper used is to prevent ur hand get dirty by the oil pastel and also to avoid other colours mix with the other colour during u are using the oil pastel colouring ur drawing...

i hope this explains u.. :)

@Liiezellx its so that the pastel (or what ever medium you're using) doesn't smudge when you put your hand down to shade (or color) part of the drawing that is higher on the page than what you have already done

@Liiezellx We do that so we don't smudge the drawing with our arms or hands. We tend to support our hands on something. This way we won't damage the drawing :3
