I remember seeing this episode a few years ago on PBS, and it was perhaps the first and only time I saw LeVar host a "Reading Rainbow" episode with seriousness instead of his usual humor side. I would understand the seriousness more when I saw the movie "Roots" (which LeVar co-starred in) at school weeks later.
