  • this is what damon wants someone to push him off of

thumbs up if you know what im talking about

  • @louiscarr899 What on earth makes you think that everyone wants to go to America? What makes it so attractive in your opinion then? The wonderful universal healthcare system? The beautiful softly mellifluous accents? The multitudes of pencil slim people feeding on healthy foods? The amazingly intellectual global news media? The intelligent TV schedules? The preponderance of well travelled citizens well versed with the outside world? Come on.....be realistic now!

  • love you lads but love the drummer more!!

  • Yes, this definitly is one of the best movies of all times! The plot is genius and the open ending...... And of course the characters... all deserve an Oscar! Grammy Awards.. here they come!

  • That's you playing? That's fantastic! I'd give anything to cross the channel while listening to your group play.

When I die, I"ll pass on Heaven; send me to England!

Merry Christmas and Happy 2010 ...from California.

  • Yes, that's our band while we on our way to the Birmingham Jazz Festival 2008. We are from the Netherlands, so we had to cross the North Sea and this was for us the best solution. A few years ago there used to be a very fast ferry between our own country, but that one has gone. So we went through Belgiumand France.

This looked like a very good place to play this tune!

    Thank for listening,

    Bert Brandsma

  • Netherlands: I bet it's a beautiful place to see.

Thanks for the background information, Bert, I'll have to do a search and learn more about your group. Nice musicianship and great fun to listen to.

  • ya nice music dude those cliff are truly beautiful

  • This is really awesome!!!! You should get a clarinet XD

  • On this tour we were only booked with 5 musicians. In that case I often play bass sax.

When we do concerts I also play clarinet.

    Kind regards,

    Bert Brandsma

  • Nice playing! Where are you from?

  • Thanks for the compliment!

We are from the Netherlands. We had 7 performances at the Birmingham (UK) Jazz Festival that's why we came through Dover. That's why we played the tune.

    Regards,

    Bert

  • Great song, great video!

On a side note I love Eric Johnson's Cliffs of Dover!

  • is that the song was deticated to

  • Exactly, I was told that during WW2 souldiers in airplanes sang this song, when they flew back from the European continent to England and felt save when they saw Dover. They felt save because they were out of reach from the enemy during that time.
