I understand your point soulplayorb but I believe most of the people who view this video would feel compassion for not only this child but for the thousands who have sufferered similarly, and the photo powerfully serves to remind the priveleged of the reality of life in drought ridden Africa. In the context of the whole video it is a statement that all of humanity can do a lot better to help the helpless, not just one photographer who is just spreading the message.
