You got to take note that this remix is from 2001.

We are in 2011 right now, that's a 10 year time stamp on the Trance industry..

What was produced and played 10 years ago is far from what is now, and what is in our expectations from new songs.

10 years ago this remix was a solid hit..

If you do not produce music your self you can't sack Armin for this remix, you gotta take note that every man evolve, and without this remix, Armin wouldn't be what he is today (:

Armin shows why he is a master here. When you listen to the "original" Sold Sessions version, it's lacking something... but it's hard to place.

Here, Armin captures exactly what it was missing -- a major key behind the vocal "verse" (the "This is my home" section). Changes the song completely -- from a great but somber/sad trance song because of the inflection of the chords, the singer, and the video to the uplifting trance that Armin is famous for and makes the genre great.

Personally I think he's doing everything he can to keep the genre moving forward on to bigger and better things.

(I'm not always in the mood for tons of beats per minute.) But what ruins the original for me is the way they repeat-echo the main vocals. It's completely unnecessary and totally ruins the song. "This is my home" (echo: my home, my home, my home) ... NO!

AVB got it right by greatly minimizing the echo
