Again the new sa8 has new parts the dc does not hence the power rating diffrence..... With the x8 and neo dropping this year im sure we will stay on top of the 8" market ;)

i cant speak on the dd or dc woofers, but the sa-8 is a daily beast and from what i know the dc is very very close.

@tyoung319 ya and the power rating on the sa-8 is double the power rating on the lvl 2 8.. so very impressive on dc side.. rusty should make a lvl 3 8.. cause the magnets on the lvl 2 and lvl 3 are the same width, just the lvl 3 has an extra stack (3 stack magnet) lvl 2 has a 2 stack magnet.. so it is very possible.. and i believe it would leave the sa-8 in the dust.. with the same power rating.. dc is more efficient and powerful than sundown, hands down

The L7's are alright though. In a proper enclosure you could probably enter a competition, but really why not just go with the SA-8? Or DC-8? And JL is okay. Im not a big fan of them. I was but then their prices just got unreasonable. JL audio's subs are good, but its the prices. They arent worth the price.
