  • Hi Alex,

This band (The Fourtones) was Jim Plummer, Grant Kingscott, Stuart Demery and Jim Luton.

Grant and Jim left The Fourtones for The Firebirds 1988. This is when they joined John Plummer and Steve Evans. Grant then left The Firebirds in 1992, then Rich Lorriman joined. Then Steve left in 1992 replaced by Elliot Porter.

  • John then left in 1994, therefore The Firebirds were a 3 piece. Then Elliot left in 1995, which is when Craig Dunn joined. Craig Left in 1997 for Faron. Faron left in 1998 and was replaced by Terry Knight. Terry Knight left in 2000, and was replaced by Jason Bryant (current). John rejoined The Firebirds in 2002 and left in 2005 for The Tonemasters.

    A short history lesson ;)

  • Hi Alex,

Yep Jim & Grant left this band to form the Firebirds, many of the early Firebirds songs were based on ideas from this band, such tracks as Church Bells May Ring, Tell Me Why, Whose that Knocking etc.

    Keep Rockin

    Stu

  • Going back a few years now jim
