Ive had an arthroscopic and an open-bankart repair..the arthroscopic surgery didnt work out too well for me unfortunately so after 3 months in a sling and 2 weeks of rehab I was back in the OR getting my 2nd surgery in less than 7 months..shitty deal..the doc shoudl have just went with his first instinct to do the bankart repair. I now have 5 titanium rods connecting from my clavicle to the head of my humerus not to mention tendons that were severed are now reinforced with titanium also
i had a labrel tear last year. and my bro has dislocation shoulder injury problems which needed surgery. i believe the dislocation is worse. we both hurt ours playing high school football.
Both MRI's on us showed nothign wrong but both of our surgries were 4+ hours. <_< yay for technology. anyway hes came out great, mine is still acting up. pisses me off. could be worse tho jsut got to deal with it
Had surgery to my left shoulder 3 years ago because it kept popping out, last week, lifting weights at the gym it popped out again....going to see the surgeon tomorrow, does anyone know if they can perform a second surgery to it, worked pretty good the first time, it's only that I was stupid enough to go do shoulder press with dumbells....lol
