the thing is that pretty much every flemish person can speak french but the french part cant speak dutch,so you will find flemish people in walloon units but not the other way round,in the dutch part there are a lot of english words used dont know if that is the case in the french part though

The special forces suport groups that are compareable to Dutch Marines, British Marines, Para and FFL 2REP are in the US, the US army RANGERS and the MARSOC(marines). The KCT is a special forces unit and yes they cover their faces.

@larsv866 The word "commando" means, "special operations operator". Delta Force members are also called commandos and also SEALs are called commandos because they are special forces. The reason why the Belgian and UK military calls it's Marines and Paras commando, is because there is 1 month commando course in their training, and they suport the SF teams of NATO sometimes. But so far the paras never have done that as I know, maybe they did but I doubt(suport the SF I mean). KCT is special forces

My uncle was member of the belgian SAS during WW2.He refused to enter into the german army(the frontier moved and his village-Ovifat-was part of Germany).He was 19,crossed the Fagnes,went to France,then Pyrénées,then Spain where he was arrested.In his prison he killed 2 german soldiers and finally arrived in Gibraltar.There he contacted an english office proposing young belgian guies to be incorporated into SAS.After a few days,sent to Leamington(UK) and North of UK for training till june 1944

I always find It funny, when civilians talk trash about a unit wich there is almost no information about the operators or there operations. So simply put, there is no reason for trash talking because you have no proof about it. Simply respect every unit. the thing is that pretty much every flemish person can speak french but the french part cant speak dutch,so you will find flemish people in walloon units but not the other way round,in the dutch part there are a lot of english words used dont know if that is the case in the french part though

@ZEEDAELE american weapons? i'm not sayhing american weapons are crap, far from it, but it would make sense if you wrote belgian guns since that's actually what we're most known for. fn herstal (which is belgian) makes a lot of the world's firearms, including some of the ones used by the usa. the americans use our m249 saw/fn minimi, m240:fn mag, fn scar and their special service uses the fn p90, etc

@larsv866 The US special forces are the US navy SEALs, Delta Force, Airforce PJ and the US army special forces(Green Beret's). The way you say it doesn't make anny fucking sense. The special forces suport groups that are compareable to Dutch Marines, British Marines, Para and FFL 2REP are in the US, the US army RANGERS and the MARSOC(marines). The KCT is a special forces unit and yes they cover their faces.

But the Belgian SFG is a great SF unit btw. @larsv866 The word "commando" means, "special operations operator". Delta Force members are also called commandos and also SEALs are called commandos because they are special forces. The reason why the Belgian and UK military calls it's Marines and Paras commando, is because there is 1 month commando course in their training, and they suport the SF teams of NATO sometimes. But so far the paras never have done that as I know, maybe they did but I doubt(suport the SF I mean). KCT is special forces

@larsv866 KCT is special forces. The reason why the paras of Belguim and the Marines of UK are called commando is because they had 1 month commando camp. Also SEALs and Delta Force operators are called commando's or even SAS members are sometimes called commando's. with the word "commando" they mean "special operations operator". You my friend don't know allot of it. But I know the SFG is great, a very profesional unit but you should compare the Paras with the Dutch Lucht Mobiele Brigade.

@naroj10 Even ter duidelijkheid, Korps Commando Troepen hun training is niet eens te vergelijken met die de SFGBE, KCT's training staat gelijk aan die van de Para Commando's, alleen is de uitrusting beter. Jullie 'para's' stellen helemaal NIETS voor, eerst moesten wij (Belgische para commando's) trainen met jullie commando's, maar omdat er zo'n verschil was van discipline, conditie en ervaring zijn wij beginnen trainen met de KCT, daarmee kunnen wij goed trainen, alleen is verschil in uitrusting

@naroj10 Landforce valt in geen enkel aspect te vergelijken met zeemacht. De discipline ligt niet hoger, gewoon anders, dat is standaard bij de zeemacht, in welk land dan ook. Jullie 'commando's' zijn niet de beste, jullie KCT zijn wel beesten, probeer dat te begrijpen en laat nooit nog zo'n domme nutteloze comment na op een filmpje terwijl wij moeten samenwerken.
