Hi, I'm a real novice to these things. We have a Nord Electro and a spare Leslie, and I would appreciate if you could explain to me in a layman's language how you connected your Nord Electro to the Leslie and are able to determine its speed. My e-mail is yjk316@unitel.co.kr If you could send a diagram or a simple drawing that would help greatly. Thank you.
It sounds great! What sound did you use for the "Echoes" thing? An acoustic or an electric piano? I found that, for the high note (it's a C) a rhodes sounds better, but for the rest of the notes the acoustic piano is more suitable. Cheers!
Dude. Everyones commenting on your gear and your set up... and yes thats all well and good clearly. But let me point out that those are some tasty licks your playin! Finger lickin delicious!
@EasyStand IIRC, the pedal is a Roland EV-5. Not sure what you mean for type 'A' cabinet... It is a Leslie 415, Rotosonic type, solid state with 12 inch woofer.
2:23 - That sound is just magical. Getting an Electro 3 very soon mostly because of the C1 organ on it... i'm gonna make sure my next purchase will be a proper Leslie speaker. Awesome playing!!
Ho letto dell'adattatore jack-11 pin ma nn essendo mimeografo con l'elettronica nn capisco come creare questo adattatore... dal NE3 si esce con 2 jack ? Potrei Avere dettagli sulla mia mail personale?
@danicrazyfingers I built a simple jack-to-11pin adapter. It's a passive adapter that just requires some wiring. The mono input signal jack conects to pins 1 (hot) and 4 (gnd), another stereo jack is used to switch speeds through pins number 6 (common), 7 (fast) and 8 (slow), and pin 5 has to be connected to pin 6 in order to power the Leslie on. The Electro 3 has only 1/4" jack outputs.
woooo! man you took be back to the old days..
and im only 19 ha

Aw baw, u know you ain't playing that music. No doubt the track your playing along with is saved in the NORD, but c'mon man. Stop it.

That was just too damn cool. I have a tube powered Leslie 147 I use with guitar, but that sure makes me want to pick up the organ as well. Nice job

Nothing sounds like a leslie, I don't care how good technology gets, you can't beat the real thing.

It sounds great. What do you use to connect the Nord Electro to the Leslie? Does the 3 version come with a pin cable?

Nice demo.

It's the piano played through the Leslie, like the Pink Floyd used to do in their album Meddle.
