Way before David Phelps (I'd never heard of him till just tuning into youtube) a couple named Jerry and Serena Mitchell did a glorious rendition of this song (recorded) in the late 90's. I know she passed in the early 90's (they were both members of Fred Price's church at the time). It may be hard to find, but it's worth hearing. Just as powerful as David P.

@reagangal Little did I know nearly a year ago when I posted this that my own 39 year old brother would be at death's door tonight after being diagnosed with stage IV cancer 5 months ago. Amazing how our Lord brings comfort before we even know we need it.

FYI....Kristie Denny sang this song at her youngest son's memorial service. Her other son put this video online as a tribute to his younger brother. I know this woman, she loves David Phelps and certainly is not trying to compete with him or anybody else.

Our Son is autistic and at the time did not say but a couple of words. Kristi is his Nanna and she sung this song live for him a couple of times. We live over 1200 miles apart and when we returned home from a visit we played the youtube version and he begun to sing along with his nanna. I am his father and it brought tears to my eyes also.
