Not many people know that it was actually written for her to sing. She was married to Weber for a while, and he wrote it with her in mind. Then he decided to use it for the role of the Phantom, so she hardly ever gets to sing it anymore. And nobody associates the song with her.  So sad that she doesn't get much credit for being the voice it was written for.
