  • Oh my goodness this is so difficult for me, I have abnormally small hands D:

  • @JdtKids Same here. And fingers hurt so much. But the important thing is not to give up. :)

  • WOW THIS ONE WAS ACTUALLY EASY!

  • for you to put this up voluntarily, without expecting money in return? You're an amazing person, thank you!!

  • you....are probably the most amazing person ever. I have searched on site after site, looking for someone to explain how to play the chords. Im not having guitar lessons so im self teaching. All of the other sites blabble on and don't tell you a thing -.- but you explain everything in detail. Now im learning the chords perfectly :D <3<3<3

  • so this dudes beast alright great teacher i went from not knowing a single note to being able to play 90% of country songs thanks to his videos and lessons THANK YOU JUSTI!!!! TEACHER OF THE YEAR GOES TO YOU

  • im learning so much from ur tuts :)

  • just want to say thanks,as im trying to learn guitar and you are very helpful .

  • thank you so much. I was just about to quit until I saw your videos

  • you are yummy.

  • your still here!!

  • ow ow ow ow....

  • down with the drumpets....song with two chords.

  • haha, you look like Simon from the inbetweeners

  • the first chord i ever made. the e. now on to e#

thanks that was really helpful :)

  • this is seriously great, by far the best online guitar tutor, I couldnt understand why some of my chords were sounding flat until i watched this and realised my third finger was resting on the third string like you said :-)

  • This Hurts on an Electric is there a differance in strings cuz on the first fret this hurts bigtime

  • love your lessons, u r a lifesaver, im taking beginning guitar at school and this is helping me soooo much!!!

  • ouuuch! my fingers hurt...great lessons :)

  • a little loopy lol

  • its so hard man, when i place my 3 fingers on the strings, my finger hits another one so when i hit that one its bloked, when then i ajust my finger hit hit the opossite string and then that string gets blloked, what am i doing wrong?

  • you're a good teacher :)

  • finger cramps crap, any suggestions

  • @John4Trimmings Have a break and try again. It's gonna hurt quite abit for the first month. He said on his webstie that 20 minutes per day is enough practice and that if you practice for too long in one session your fingers will get very very sore and you be able to play for a few days. So small sessions everyday and just remember after all the pain and finger cramp, you will be able to play guitar which is pretty fricken' awesome.

  • @bfmv580 great advice! Thanks mate!

  • i love how u babble, it rly funny! lol! but amazin lessons! ur the only one whos clear in wat 2 do! thanks u so much! :)

  • you dont change your outfit in ANY of your videos. Did you record all bajillion of these in one day??

  • @zenosaur1 Yeah he did. He said it in a few videos that he spends an entire day making a few dozen videos.

  • You're amazing!! I love you, thanks so much!

  • the 5 people who disliked this obviously have tiny little penis' and hate on everything to try and mask their shame

  • You are the best for a super beginner like me thanks man

  • who here had to search up BC-113 at the top to find this?

  • @jspeedyj to find the lessons - use the web site - no pre-roll ads and you get all the page notes too!!!

  • I love you.

  • I just noticed your foot and now it's hella distracting! :') But I can play three chords now, wahey! ;D

  • your awesome justin!

  • My fingers hurt like never before T_T but I'm taking it like a man! But soon its overwhelming my ability and causing my blisters, how do I prevent that:? dont play? T_T

  • @BlackArmorVideos I think maybe take a bit of a break if you have blisters now. But when they've gone down or feel a bit better, start playing again. Eventually you'll get toughened skin on your fingers and then it won't hurt as much. Just what I've heard from other people. I'm hoping that'll happen to me cos right now my fingertips hurt like hell 0_0"

  • this is sooo helpful i cant believe you would take all this time to give all 126,885 viewers for free but you should do just a little less talking and a little more teaching

  • @brownie76qq309 Yes and usually when it's just all taught you don't have a thorough knowledge about what you're doing it's just practical, for things like this you need half and half for both things. Knowledge and practice. He's doing a fine job.

  • @romeo015 yeah i agree i was just cranky that day

  • i just made up a little song! THX MAN UR THE BEST

  • justt By lookking at his vids were donating views! ;) luv diz teacher!

  • Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • I want to come up and see your lesson everyday

  • LOVE YOU ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  • don't think I will ever get this, I'm really pissed off I looked at this now, its put me right off.

  • Your a great teacher, been wanting to learn how to play for ....about 4 years now...and in 3 days I've learn more than I ever did vs. completely on my own from a book. Books are great but I learn hands on better. Thanks for making such awesome vids.

  • It hurts my fingers lol, shall i losen my strings a bit?

  • @1mc001 Don't worry you have to keep playing for your fingers to harden so they dont hurt, you have to play allot for that

  • @1mc001 After you play a while it starts to feel better because the tips of your fingers get tougher. No worries.

  • 1 guy is arrogant and thinks he is something better than beginners.

but i tell him, you have started one time too, so shut up mf.

check my channel have started exactley this way and now i create own metal riffs and sessions

  • @shreddlearner ur own words dumbfuck "1 guy is arrogant and thinks he is something better than beginners" geez guy if ur a beginner he is better, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that.

  • dude , you're amazing , with your help , i can play 5 fuckin' chords .

    thnks !

  • yesterday i knew nothing, today i know the a e and d chorsd and im trying to switch between them, total shit just now, but fact remains, justin is a legend teacher

  • dude i LOVE your accent<3

  • You're a great teacher :) I'm learning to play my acoustic, and so far I know the chords of A, G, D, D7, C, and E :) Struggling with F atm but hopefully I'll get it eventually ! xx

  • I will donate how much i can whenever i can, because you man, you helped me a lot. Really appreciate what your doing and I hope you get a lot of donations. Everyone who feels the same, donate! Couple of bucks would probably do the trick, I believe you can never find such a good CHEAP guitar teacher :)

    Thanks Justin!

  • Great, thank you so much !! I'v learned so much already :D

  • i dont understand the little chart thign !?!?!

  • great thks, this one is easier thank the A chord!!

  • There is nothing on the diagram , on the third fret. I think you are reading the diagram wrong.

  • he is british!!!!! great teacher!!

  • this is great but my fingers hurt

  • my fingers hurt soooo much! im positive i have the wrong strings for my guitar =/

  • u messed up on the diagram because it sais 4th string 3rd, fret when your playing it 4th string "2ND FRET"

  • Thanks for these amazing videos!

  • I like his fret markers.

  • Thank you Justin! I love your lessons, so thorough and easy to follow, you rock! keep the great work!

  • Thank you so much for these lessons, i've had a guitar for 9 years and I'm now just starting to actually like practicing!! thank you

  • I done it now my fingers hurt

  • @TheLiamhewitt brother mine do to

  • @TheLiamhewitt Practice. I play 4 hours every day and i impress my friends with my stone fingers. xDD They try to hurt me and i feel nothing XDD

  • My fingertips are getting painful now.. am I pressing too hard or something

  • No, you just take a rest... and then keep it going!! Because, no pain... no gain... that sayin doesn't just go along for sports, but it also goes with music :) If you finger hurts... ur gnna be good with guitar if you keep it up... ur fingers will get tougher... tougher makes playing easier :)

  • no your fingers will hurt at first, you'll tough up the more you play! :)

  • Pain is normal at first. But remember to only press as hard as required! This will help to keep your hand relaxed, keep it from getting too tired, and it will make switching chords much easier.

  • thanks so much! you make it sooo simple! (:

  • lol beats £30 an hour!!

  • Thank you, Justin (my virtual teacher)...

Certainly, the best vid on the internet!

    Congratulations!

  • Great stuff Justin, I've been trying to learn for 30 years, now I have seen your video learning it has inspired me to keep on, A,D and E chords have now only taken me 30 minutes, great.

  • This is great! I started playing two days ago using these videos, and I can already play a perfect D and A chord. Almost without looking.

  • i think more tutorials should focus on what NOT to do. that bit about leaving a gap and rounding the hand helped a lot.

  • thank you SO much for doing this justin, you're helping me learn guitar, and its really changing my life for the better =D

your amazing dude..i dont think ill ever be able to thank you enough for doing what you do, =)

  • @white0nerdy Don't worry. Your generous donation is enough to thank him.

    :)

  • @malkdk I wish I could donate a couple thousand dollars to this man. He deserves it!

  • @white0nerdy you can donate a couple of thousand of dollars to him just send me your bank details :)

  • @stulad9863 haha now thats funny

  • Hello Man...you have no Idea how u r changing people lives......Thanks is not enough for u.....Many Thanks Though...

  • very nice

  • Handy tips hah... I see what you did there.

  • ...and now I can pull off three chords! Woo Hoo! This is so amazingly fun. :)

  • Excellent! I'm a real novice and this a real help. Off to check out the rest of your videos!

  • Does it matter if you place the 2 and 3rd finger first before the 1st finger?

  • Ideally they should all be placed at the same time.

  • No, but ideally you would want to place all three at the same time.

  • Justin is kinda look resemblance to Chris Evans.

Or is it something wrong with my eyes?

Your lessons are getting better and better.

    Thank you Justin

  • Justin,

this is fantastic. I can't count the number of times i've had someone ask me how i learned to play and i've had to direct them to 'google chords'. These lessons are PERFECT for the youngster who needs to learn the beginnings of how to play guitar. Kudos to you for reaching out to all levels of playing, and for encouraging people who have no idea how to play, to pick it up!

  • the part-time punks by television personalities also has only 2 chords (E and A) + its a great song!!!

  • the beatles' song tomorrow never knows only has one chord

  • Wasted rock ranger by great white, G and D.

  • hfg

  • hi master i love you...squirel!

  • Justin: there is one song with only 2 chords: Lady in Black ;)

  • You can play Wild Thing with A-D-E Good song for beginners..

  • Do you have a problem ever pressing and having the restraining noise during a performance after playing for very long, years even? lol ''little bit loopy''. haha

  • You are amazing. thanks.

  • I'm surprised you didn't start with the E chord.

Anyways, D-A-E is enough to play With a Little Help from My Friends, the refrain anyway.

  • These beginner lessons are nice.
