I'm a 13 year old girl and I've been suicidal for the past year, just about. I know I'm probably gonna get a whole bunch of thumbs down because I'm so young and I was suicidal, but quite frankly I don't care, because I've been through a lot.. This and many other skillet songs have been helping me through so much. That and the Lord. This song especially. Now, whenever I get that feeling I pray to God and ask him to give me the strength to get through it. <3

@TheExplosiveCandy I had a pretty good life to. I had the best friends in the world, but there was something happening right in front of me, my parents. Then one night my mom said pack your things we are leaving i ran and did so and went into the car and my mom was yelling at my dad... Long story short my life did a flip. But God only does things for a reason. That reason was to.. i haven't figured out yet. But i know it will be for the good

@AnimalQueenful a 1000 miles doesn't sound that bad they live 10000 kilometers away. In a different hemisphere, so the 9 hour time difference makes it even harder to keep in touch.
i don't have a problem with religious people i wish that i had their faith sometimes but it really annoys me how some and notice i said SOME of them try to force it on you. like there's something wrong with you if you don't believe in god. i'm not really a believer but i don't go around trying to get people not to believe. i respect other people's opinions and views on the subject. it would be nice if every1 was more tolerant.

i love the message but this is probably my least favorite skillet song. but about the religion argument, the bible was written by people so of course it is going to have things that people would have written, but does it really matter when the bottom line is that god loves you, and if you love him back, then you can be with him, and you should want to do good by him, not just for immortal life. there may not be exact proof of his existence but i beleive that the world is proof enough.

People hate god for such a stupid reason. Most of the reason is because he puts us through trials, and never gives us what we ask for. Maybe he would if you don't ask for non consentual things? Its just showing that you're weak when you give up on life, god puts us through the things in life to make us stronger, so stand up and FIGHT FOR WHATS RIGHT.

@banditkingjing2 i totally agree with you, i used to be like those things you said and giving up on life but then a friend of mine show me he was there for me and the next day at school we talked about how to be happy. i saw that as a sign from god to give me another chance to go through life and see things from another perspective.

@UmbreonDante You don't always need proof to believe in something. All you really need is faith and faith is the one thing you need to have to believe God. If you have no faith, you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your heart. But if you realy need proof, read the Bible. Like a study Bible or go to a Bible teacher or maybe a pastor or something and ask some questions. They won't know everything but they do know a good bit of information. And remember, if you accept Jesus, life gets easier.

i don't have a problem with religious people i wish that i had their faith sometimes but it really annoys me how some and notice i said SOME of them try to force it on you. like there's something wrong with you if you don't believe in god. i'm not really a believer but i don't go around trying to get people not to believe. i respect other people's opinions and views on the subject. it would be nice if every1 was more tolerant.

i love the message but this is probably my least favorite skillet song. but about the religion argument, the bible was written by people so of course it is going to have things that people would have written, but does it really matter when the bottom line is that god loves you, and if you love him back, then you can be with him, and you should want to do good by him, not just for immortal life. there may not be exact proof of his existence but i beleive that the world is proof enough.

If you have no faith, you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your heart. But if you realy need proof, read the Bible. Like a study Bible or go to a Bible teacher or maybe a pastor or something and ask some questions. They won't know everything but they do know a good bit of information. And remember, if you accept Jesus, life gets easier.
