  • Great vid, great approach. But is it too late? Who knows? But I do know that it would be irrational or even immoral not to try.

The Rocky Mountain Institute is pointing the way!

  • Isn't 2050 llong past peak? It will be difficult, if not impossible to keep up current economic and social activity when petroleum becomes untainable. Coal and natural gas wouldn't last long either. I really do hope RMI has the right idea but even if they do, I don't believe the industrial world has the political and social willpower to make the transition in these tough times.

if amory had been listened to in the 70s (Soft Energy Paths)

    we would be light-years ahead

    of where we are now

    it is still the case

    but who is listening?

  • Fantastic... keep up the great work RMI!!!

  • Excellent! This is the kind of inspired thinking that we need! Now tell Congress to pass the clean energy bill that's stalled in the Senate. Sign the clean energy petition at OneMillionCalls. org
