Step 1: You kill your Sim any way you want (except I wouldn't do old age because I have no idea If it works)

Step 2: have a best friend of a sim who will die (we'll call this Sim: Sim 2) be there when the sim who will be the playable ghost (Sim 1) dies

Step 2: KEEP THE REMAINS/URN OF THE GHOST

Step 3: You should get a call from the science facility (if Sim 2 was best friends with Sim 1) saying they think have found a way to resurrect Sims

Step 4: Click yes/accept

Actually, that's a ghost of a sim that died in a fire.

The ones that die of electrocution are yellow with thunderbolt

@souleaterxstein You have to make a female sim with the kleptomaniac trait, and then go dig up a male sim's remains... then his ghost will start showing up from 11PM to 4AM, so socialize with him until you're best friends. Then, start trying for a baby every night, until you start vomiting P: then you're pregnant with a ghost's baby :D

Its possible! My sim have a baby from a ghost too! You must kill a sim and keep the gravestone in your house. Every night comes the ghost out of the gravestone and you can make a baby with him!

@ColorSensations you can go at the cemetary try to seduce one/ use "testingcheatsenabled true-false" and clic right to the ghost to and him at your family/ put kelptomaniac at your sims traits and steal a gravestone at the cimetary to place it in your house and wait until he appear! Enjoy!^^

@kimdngman inside the graveyard but if u dnt want to go there here r the steps 1. Get the sims you want to be the ghost. 2. kill one sim (so make sure its not one you love) 3. raise ur friendship 4. get married!

@kingdomhearts39 It's even easier than that. ASSUMING this is actually sims 3, which I slightly doubt it is judging by the animations in step 1, here is how you get teh ghosts in your house

1. edit town, and kick the Goths out of their castle in sunset valley

2. move your sim in the house, with the " freerealestate " cheat active (Shift + Ctrl + C to bring up debug code bar)

3. Make sure your sim has the Brave trait, or else she (or he) will freak

4. Ghosts will go in your house at night

@CloeannMontoya after one of ur family members die, you will recieve an oppurtunity to go to the science facility to revive ghost from the dead, go to science faciliy with remains and CONGRATULATIONS you got a playable ghost

@Respectthegore365 To get the oppertunity very quickly delete the wishes of all your sims in the one family and opertunities in a matter of 1-2simdays youll get an oppertunity and all you have to do is get the grave of the loved one put in  in your inventory and go to the science facility and there should be a chose to give a urnle or whatever its called so they can "bring them back to life" HOPE I HELPED :D

Thats not how a ghost baby is born..., You have to try multiple times. The baby is an actual ghost when it really happens because my sim had twin ghost babies Ninfidora & Angeline.. They are see through and have graves in their inventories. Nice Try.
