Cummins 5 Inch Straight Pipe Exhaust

Hey i have a question for you or anyone that has a 5 inch exhaust. when you have it installed it doesnt look like a giant annaconda hanging underneith the truck does it? i love the deeper sound of the 5 inch over the 4 inch, but idk how the 5 inch would look on my 2wd cummins.

@margritzmj Doesn't look bad. Angle the last piece of the exhaust downward so you can't see it from the back and so that you can really only see the tip. Looks Good!

@margritzmj No, it doesn't sound harsh, I didn't know about the mirrors, all I knew about was that the 24 valve says 24 valve and the 12 valve says nothing under Cummins

@texasboy2471 yea its more expensive but its the best thing you can do to your engine cause this set-up would provide the lowest EGT's. and I've always heard you wont lose power cause diesel's dont relay on compression as much as a gassers does. Just my thought

My Mods are #0 fuel plate, intake, 5 inch exhaust (obviousley), AFC mods, delievery valves, and 3GSK kit.

I deleted your comment by accident.... If you have a 96 cummins your best bet is either a 4 or a 5 inch system.... Straight sounds good. Resonates in the cab a little though.

Umm its not too hard..... Better to just get the kit. I spent around 250 dollars for a full five inch. You will spend just as much getting pipe bent up like that....

Depends.... Straight piped 24' valves in my opinion are a LOT louder than straight piped 12 valves. Both sound like Detriots coming down the road. Its really not bad in the cab unless your flying down the highway... Either way its going to sound awesome and you won't be disapointed. Thanks for watching

You paid 250 dollars to get it straight piped?? where do you live cuz down in Yuba city u get ur own pipe how big u want, take it to the shop have em stick it in there for 50 bucks lol.
