There just isn't any way to get around a gluten allergy/intolerance. There may be other flours and/or products that can take the place, but since we usually don't eat much flour products, we are not equipped with the information you need. You can definitely make some great raw deserts for her...try taking dates and blending them up without the seeds in them, then add some coconut, blend softly, then make into 2 inch cookies, and add a nice almond on top! hope this helps.
Wondering if you folks have ever been made aware of any tricks or secrets to managing better with coeliac, the allergen bowel syndrome against gluten.. My daughter has this, & I'm always looking for new ways so that she isn't feeling like she's missing out on all the goodies.
Keep up the fun, you folks are an awesome inspiration.
@Bestmountjoy My mom has celiac/coeliac disease. She can eat all the same foods everyone does like pizza, pasta, cookies and cakes etc. but she uses RICE flour. Even though I don't have celiac disease I still think products made from rice flour can be very good. There are also other types of flour too like black bean and chick pea- but these have a more distinct taste.
