I long to be a real child of the 70s. Now in my late 40's that is all I listen to and love it all - I was not brought up with music of the era and absorb it all now, with pure passion and complete awe and longing to be there.
Wie ein guter Wein: Je älter, desto besser. Ich mag Heavy Metal, ich mag Folk. Ich mag Rap und HipHop. Ich mag Schlager. Ich mag alles, was sich gut im Ohr verteilt.

@suenoko I'm actually an old Van Halen, Aerosmith kinda guy. But some of us have a mellow side. It's 1:00 AM on the East coast and I have to work tomorrow. Have a good night honey. Keep in touch!!!!
Oh man... I didn't know the lead singer on this song was dead. 1978 is absolutely right. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I can't listen to that song the same way now that the guy died.
This song is a oldy but goody song!! I bet they got alot of chicks with this song! It has real passion and soul in it!! Good song for lovers-really in love~~70's music is the best in the world~~Wish they would play these songs on the radio today.
What's so intriguing is that this band is Country now. Back in 1978, EXILE was considered a Pop band. At any rate, I must say that this tune is somewhat hypnotic. I would have to imagine they got lots of chicks with this one.
@professordumbledorf This song just has an affect on women. My mom loved it as well as "the" girl next door. The other day my neice asked to copy a song she liked. I said sure, which one? She told me and I was like "no, absolutely not, lol. New Orleans Ladies by Louisiana Leroux was also very popular at the time.
This is a very sexy song! "I wanna taste your lips..." When this was a current song on the radio, I said those words to my GF just as the song was coming on, we kissed, mm mmmm nom nomm and then she heard the lyric and looked at me like, "How did you know they were going to say that???" and I remember that romantic kiss to this day. She was yummy!!! <3 <3
CLASSIC NO1 HIT FROM SUMMER OF 1978 WHEN LIFE WAS SIMPLE AND HAPPIER . GOD REST LEAD SINGER JIMMY STOKLEY WHO PASSED AWAY IN 1985 . GOD REST HIS SOUL . WHEN OH WHEN CAN WE GET THIER 70S ALBUMS ON CD
Yeah this song was a hit when I was 17 yrs old. This song was one of the songs responsible for making me think that a guy out there would come along and be crazy over ME and We would just be passionate like this song FOREVER! But ALAS,the song in reality should be"I wanna just get laid,Til the night closes in,then go home bitch."
@suenoko On behalf of all GOOD men, I apologize for any hurt and regret men have caused in your life. I believe men leave home too early and never really have enough time to grow and mature.
@suenoko are you still searching. im a romatic and i feel women need to talk to.so if your looking ,email me.ill hold you till the night closes in and make breakfast as well.peace
@suenoko I disagree! and I agree.... 16 years this June..... I was a bit younger when this came out. The JC Penny Catalog, underwear section is where I found the girls of my dreams... Then the day came. Years later, many boozed up one night stands and a few sick relationships past. I had almost given up... Thanks Colleen!
@atomicpunk48 Well That is true.I chatted with a guy once that thought he met the online girl of his dreams, after a year of chatting he sent her a plane ticket. He was awaiting with a bouquet of flowers. The flight arrived she wasn't there. The next flight,no show.He waited 4 hours and found out later she cashed in the plane ticket and never heard from her again.
i always thought this was one of the hottest songs! had no idea what they looked like (gotta say, he doesnt look like what i would have thought) but who cares, still a great song.
this song sends moosegumps all up and down my spine. I remember making all kinds of moves on chickas at the high school dances with my new silk shirt. damn i was so hot

@galaxieland I'm 17, and I envy the people living in the 70s...I LOVE the music and the mood it gives...when I see something from the 70s, I instantly enter another state of mind...so amazing
@SheepNorway you should envy us, the 70s were great. maybe youll get lucky and they will build a time machine so you can experience the fun we had with disco , roller skating, Huge night clubs, cool cars, you could actually leave the door unlocked or let your kids outside and some people had shot guns in the back window of their trucks at high school and nobody got shot (on purpose) man them were the days. naa im just kiddin, all that i said was a lie except the music, it was great.. ;-)
@caveman1968 Haha sounds amazing :) when it comes to the 70s, i get a very nostalgic feeling...i just loved how it's portrayed in movies, shows and so on...
@SheepNorway ..you hit the nail on the head.was an culturally bonding/transforming time of consciousness expanding and musical renaissance..and horrible clothes.
I remember listening to this when I was younger. I couldn't have told you anything about the band or what anyone looks like, but I just remember, this was the sh*t when I was growing up, even if I'm only 36 now, I absolutely still love listening to this band. They are bad a**!!!
If anything, seeing these ridiculous ads that are displayed on the video screen, only makes me NOT want to click on them. Enough already...we want to watch the video no advertisements!!
That song has always been one of my alltime favorites. And yes, Strobe Lights, Disco balls, crowded dance floors so packed ppl bumped into one another and for the most part, would just laugh
This song remind me of how badly I don't want to go to the other side. I fear there won't be any 70s-80s music in hell. What if hell doesn't exist. then where will find my solace for being an unbeliever in god but a firm fun of all those great bands and musicians!!!!!
God this song reminds me of my School Days, and my prom I abosolutely love this song. I feel it is one of Exile's best Non-Contry songs ever recorded.

This song remind me of how badly I don't want to go to the other side. I fear there won't be any 70s-80s music in hell. What if hell doesn't exist. then where will find my solace for being an unbeliever in god but a firm fun of all those great bands and musicians!!!!!

This song is just so goddam sexy. Brings back good memories. The bass line is choice and just love the way those humbuckers make that Les Paul sound.
