When I worked in radio before retirement., Lenny Dee used to drop in to our studios and we had great fun working shows with him. Also we had the Three Suns do some shows on the station where I worked.
Really enjoyed hearing you play, especilly with a Hammond. I am 56 and just started playing again in 2005 after 40 years. Hearing you play inspires me to contine to play my old Hammond also even though I realize I may never be great. My hope is that music is enjoyed as a celebration, and not a competition - it's art not sport.
Thanks for the comments. What makes music so great is It's not how technical you are, anyone can be tought to read music it's the ability to take a song and make it your own.
I am awestruck by how many here on You Tube can do that.
Thank you for the kind comments. I have a ball doing these, but never really thought anyone would want my music. I'm just a washed up lounge entertainer that time past by, but I do enjoy life and playing that old Hammond.
There is probably good reason. I love this stuff even though I can't play like I used to but the demand for it is pretty much over. I'm glad you enjoyed it you made my day!
You say: "The demand for it is pretty much over?" Ha! Welcome to the BabyBoomer generation of which I am proudly part of! I'm 60 and there's plenty more where I come from! Your playing is great and we want to hear more! We all have some great memories of those early Hammond organ days. I'll be posting more of my playing as soon as I get back in to playing shape. By the way, it's great to see a transplanted Texan from Ohio.
First thank you for the happy birthday song. Well at least you recognized what I was playing, that's a bonus. I used to have a crush Lesley Gore can't get her songs out of my mind. By the way I changed it thanks for the heads up!
Nice- really nice.

Beautiful sounding organ and melody, is it a L100 or perhaps a M100?

Thanks so much for the compliment.
Niether It's a Concorde, Hammonds first attempt at a pro non-tone wheel console.

In that case it sounds nice to be a non-tonewheel organ. The most important is the sound with or without tonewheel.

Thanks for your comments. I miss the days of playing the lounges in Cleveland and in some little way this seems to fill the void.
