  • thehee, how selfish, i cant even do 1 yet

  • That is an almost PERFECT example of a roll... u c soo many people getting this wrong its good to see a good example for once, eventhough i can roll well now too:D lol

    Perfect lol :D

  • Thank you, Sir! :)

Check out my other vids, lots more nice rolls ;)

  • 10 rolls. that's a good way to dizzy yourself and drown.

  • cool. can u also do a barrel roll?

  • Goed gedaan, hoor. I get sea-sick just watching you!

  • Dank je ;)

  • you must of got a headache

  • lol. i couldent do that without spinning around 20 times and doing two lengths. my boat goes everywhere when i roll too many times

  • Nice hip-flick, smooth roll!!

  • have a question

if for some reason you cant do a roll what should you do?i imagine youd just bail out but is there anything else that doesnt risk losing it?

  • learn how to do a boat to boat resque

  • A modern kayak is unsinkable. =)

  • This video finally helped me get the technique right. Before, i was putting the blade perpendicular to the surface of the water, but now i realized that it's just a slice.

  • you should try racing like that, freak out the competition!

  • it is amazing how easy rolls are once you RELAX and just move smoothly. This kayak would be a better roller than many. Plastic boats generally harder for while greenlands are the best I think.

  • any tips on rolling im only starting off , cant seem to get the hips the right way then panic after about 6 seconds

  • To practise the hipflick you should just use the side of the pool and no paddle. Use one hand. Keep your stomach towards the sky, then roll the boat with your hips while keeping your upper body in the water. That's enough at first. Do that until you are able to sit up with hardly any effort. You shouldn't have to push yourself up with your hand too much.

  • I said stomach but I meant chest. Keep your chest facing up.

  • thanks dude will have to practise that nearly have it just have to get the timing right

  • Yes, timing is very important. Everything must be very relaxed, slow even, until the moment you initiate the hip flick. That has to be lightning fast. Just wait for the boat to turn totally upside down. Then make sure the paddle is extended to the perfect position. Take your time, you're not going anywhere. And then WHAM! perform the hip flick and sit up.

  • try 20 i like hiperventilated lol

  • THAT DUDE HAS GOTTA BE DIZZY

  • way to go!
