What kind of rabbit is he

  • Lou has a twin-check out "Cute Rabbit Carrying Paper"

It's SOOO CUTE!!! and so is LOU!!!

What kind of rabbit is he?

  • Lou has a twin-look at "Cute Rabbit Carrying Paper"

    It's SOOO CUTE!!!

  • My loppy girl tried to steal my sandwich which had cheese on it. Other rabbit drank my tea (with berries flavor) and coca cola. Not the usual diet...

  • wow rabbits love apple=???

  • D: I've actually never given my bunnies an apple before, I feel mean now.

Oh well, they get plenty or treats & bananas. :3

May try an apple, though. You just give it to them whole?

  • You can give it to them whole for FUN.. but don't let them eat the whole thing.. and also... take a bite out of it yourself first so that they can actually have a spot where they'll be able to bite in... otherwise they just push it around and that's kind teasing... only let them take a few little bites out of it though then take it away because there are TONS of sugar in apples so they should only have a bit! Have FUn!!

  • omg lou is sooooooo cute my bunnie would love to meet him :) love ya Lou!!!

  • Oh,I love this video!! Lou is adorable and the music is just perfect! We just adopted a bunny before xmas and are having a blast with him-he is so entertaining.Love ya Lou!

  • cool, very wild bunny xD

  • Do u mind if I do a video response to this video? My rabbit likes too eat fruit and I wanted to do a vid response of him eating something, thnx, bye

  • of course! go ahead! can't wait to see it!

  • Thanks...I was wondering where i could find other bunny owners who get together with each other and their bunnies. Kinda like a dog park, but with bunnies. Any ideas...i'm gonna see if I can attend a rabbit show soon.

  • I dont really know of places like that aside from rabbit shows... rabbits can be kinda aggressive towards each other so it can take time to get them to play nice.. unlike dogs and what not. I always tell Lou.. he'll never get a room-mate until he learns to behave himself and have some manners. right now he's too aggressive to be trusted alone with other bunnies.

  • Woohoo! Toss the cup! Very cute video :)

  • When is a bunny considered fat? Mine just eats and sleeps all day.

  • Your bunny looks spoiled with that huge apple! I was wondering when a bunny is considered overweight cuz my bunny (5 months) doesn't really play, eats alfalfa/timothy hay all day, and is very sedentary. I'm concerned about his health...since i notice I can grab a little skin from his back.

  • hehe.. Lou didn't eat the whole apple.. but yeah i guess he is still spoiled. He leads a pretty luxurious life! It was his birthday though so i let him play with the apple for a bit. As for over weight it all depends on the breed.. lou is a holland lop and is just the right weight for that breed.. between 4 and 5 pounds. What kind of rabbit do you have. From the description he is a bit fat.. What is his diet like? and how much time does he spend out of his cage??

  • There are ways to help your bun get exercise.. new toys..... hiding healthy snacks around the room... etc etc etc...

Also if he does nothing but eat and sleep there might be a reason.. his feet might be sore making him want to stay still.... you could consider taking him to the vet to get checked out. Also rabbits that dont feel secure out of their cage wont run around but simply hide under furniture... improving your relationship with your bunny (not that i know how it is) could help too.

  • Can you get Holland Lops in Australia, or more specifically Adelaide? Or are they the same thing as the mini lop?

  • Nope they're not the same.. believe it or not but mini lops are actually LARGER than holland lops.. holland lops are the smallest lop breed their is.. coming in at 4-5 pounds.. where mini lops tend to be more like 6-7 pounds. A very slight difference but a difference all the same. I dont know if you can get holland lops in australia... but i dont see why not.

  • OMG whats this song? It's awesome

  • its the first part of "overture/All that jazz" from the Chicago Soundtrack!

  • Thanks. I'm hoping on getting two Mini Lops (female) and 1 Guieneu pig soon. What breed is yours? If you could give me the basic care you give it would be greatly appriciated!

  • Lou is a Holland Lop! As for basic care.. well... i'll send you a separate e-mail! :)

  • kk thanks

  • He sure does like running into the camera! Happy belated Birthday Lou!!!

  • mine tends to like grapes

  • I love your video! You make me feel less miserable when i think of Toto. Guess its because Toto looks like Lou in certain way. Can you show more of him? just never get enough hahah. Hey dont let him eat 2 much apple...its too sweet hahah. Say hi to Lou for me!

  • he he dont worry i ate the rest.... cheers

  • late happy birthay lou

  • Sara, I just love the video clips you make of Lou - good choice of music. Where do you find the music for them? Lou is one handsome and cute bunny!

  • Thanks so much! I just use the music i typically have on my ipod... which yes does include this jazz stuff! :) haha This song is from the Chicago Soundtrack.

  • Great video. Lou is definitely a bunny with attitude.

  • did lou ever bite or scrach you.

    just curios

  • Lou is actually a very aggressive rabbit... he wont lunge at people for no apparent reason but if he feels like you're in HIS space you may get a wee nip. He's more vocal than violent though.. he'll growl and grunt a bit when i have to pick him up to clip his nails or something and if i stop him doing something naughty like eating the living room carpet then he'll make his displeasure known.. but if you respect his turf he's really quite a sweetie.. he even love cuddling.. just.. On HIS terms!

  • Kona's also aggressive at times... he nips and bites, but usually he's trying to communicate with us. And he follows me everywhere and wants to be petted all the time. So he's actually very sweet, just like Lou. :)

  • hehe yeah that sounds like lou.. he's a bit of an attention monger! :)

  • we wish lou a happy birthday too! lou is only 7 days younger than mr. beau. :D

  • Really?? Well happy birthday to Mr Beau as well!! :)

  • Happy birthday Lou! what a cute rabbit
