Quack quack. Please don't call yourself a doctor it is very insulting to the brilliant people who have spent their lives learning science and medicine and save thousands of lives everyday. You, on the other hand, wasted your life studying pseudoscience that doesn't help anybody. See the difference?
YOU GUYS ARE TO MUCH MONEY 250.00 TO SEE YOU GUYS AND CASH NO INSURANCE YOU TAKE I KNOW I DO EAT BETTER AND THINGS LIKE THAT BUT I CANT AFFORD YOU GUYS.
in canada ive never seen a naturopath school that was under 5 years let alone 10 classes lol. not to mention western modern medicine and natural medicine is quite opposite anyway.
Gee...I wonder if all of these "naturopathic doctors" (whatever that means) would still call themselves that if they got into Johns Hopkins Medical School.
Hmmmmm. I'm gonna go think long and hard about that one.
America: the place where anyone's an expert if they say it loudly enough...
I'm a primary care physician specializing in naturopathic medicine. Licensed to practice primary care in AZ/CA/WA with DEA#. My training involved a BS in microbiology and then a professional 4-year clinical / academic doctorate from an accredited school (Bastyr).
I take insurance and practice integrated family medicine. This means taking a less invasive approach -prescribing meds only when absolutely needed and working more with healthy alternatives.
I want to go into naturopathic medicine and I didn't realize that with a degree in it that you could prescribe medication! That is actually really surprising to me. I just finished visiting Bastyr actually.
@akirakhan Hi, greetings to you as well :). I'm actually considering attending Bastyr after I've completed my undergraduate studies (I'm 23, but I'm almost there), but may I ask... how would you rate your experience with Bastyr?? I'm actually thinking of attending there when I graduate. Thanks for your time.

Whoa there buddy, no need to get your panties in a twist. Nothing I said was untrue; naturopathy, in it's ridiculous entirety, is ridiculous. It is replete with morons who got their "educations" from diploma mills peddling ridiculous crap like homemopathy and iridology.
@cowy1 you wouldnt be here as a human if old medicine didnt cure that by the law of evolution. humanity wouldve died off from disease long ago..do some research

One got his degree from an online diploma mill and is totally useless. The other spent a ton of money on an education to get a "doctorate" from a diploma mill and is also totally useless. The differences between real doctors and these quacks are massive.
They are not diploma mills. There are many accredited schools of naturopathic medicine. They require very similar requirements for getting in and the science you learn in the schools is very much the same as well. It is just applied differently. You obviously don't know at all what you are talking about. It's really frustrating to see someone who is clearly extremely ignorant on a subject and yet is so arrogant in his beliefs that he is right about it.

Cowy1 You are a f***** idiot!
do you eat food?
Do you buy it in plastic containers?
do you really think that is a naturopathic problem? Do you know how much it costs to ship glass?
Are you typing on a plastic computer now?
What is your degree in?
Obviously not philosophy!
