Hillary Clinton earned no respect during the Clinton fiasco. As Bill embarrassed the entire country with his Jr. High School irresponsible and immoral hormonal antics, his wife should have shown the door, and booted him in the ass on his way out. Most women would do this. Most women have no respect for Hillary Clinton in this regard.

I may agree with you about Hillary not earning respect for sticking with Bill, but how about some understanding? And I think it's simplistic that she stayed just for power. Two things to think about: 1) maybe she actually loves him, that it's not a marriage built solely on convenience and power-building, and maybe it could be viewed as taking courage to forgive and stay with him??

Lots of you guys would like to obfuscate this issue and bleat on and on an whine and cry about other wives and other politicians and raw power this and that, but the fact remains that those husbands and wives in this country that honor their marriage vows, and are true to themselves, that is to say honorable people, are the voters who will not support Hillary.

But grown-up honorable, substantial women, women of principle, decent women, will not tolerate this behavior by their husbands. They would simply divorce the husband try to help their children get over the shame, and go on with their positive productive lives.

Chris Matthews is only saying the truth. If Hillary was Hillary Rodham and not Hillary Rodham Clinton, she would not be enjoying the political status she does. The Clinton campaign should stop blaming everyone--Chris Matthews, Tim Russert, the stress of campaigning which brought her to tears; she should start taking responsibility for her own successes and failures and take it like a woman.
