I just wrote off the Pixies version as rubbish, hey, I'm in a subtle mood. But this is great, some thought and effort involved. The Pixies version reminds me a lot of how Corgan plays his version of the Pumpkins live now, as if to say 'F**K you all who came here tonight and spent big money on tickets, I'm the man, don't have to play a show anywhere near decent.'. He's even said things to this affect live.
Compared to the Devo, Bauhaus, even the Pixies version, this one takes the cake.
