First of all Esoteric is my favorite band..but this album is def. not as good as "the maniacal vale" or most of the other albums..so i was a bit disappointed at first but after listening to it a couple of times i started to get more into it and overall it's still pretty good and unique in its own way..just not as gloomy & psychedelic like the previous albums..so far "Aberration" is my favorite track..reminds me of "the secret of the secret" style..

Nice review! Rigor Sardonicous is a kool FD band as well. (i think they used to work in a morgue?) JUMBLE JUNKIE I BEG YOU!!! listen to "BLOODLUST" by Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats. i know the name souns a little 'iffy, but once you hear them you will be fukkin blown away. They have a 60's psychedelic kinda vibe, and the vocals are absolutely amazing. (if john lennon sang like jus oborn on Dopethrone). Please..... check it out.

Dude, we are in agreement on this. I absolutely loved this record and Esoteric are my favorite funeral doom band as well. Good to know that someone else loves this stuff, I really want more people to check these guys out.

Stunning band that has such shitty covers and logo design, but the music makes up for it so much! You keep surprising me with reviews of bands that I either didn't think you knew about or wasn't going to review.

@DerBertRam I think I get what you mean, but I also think the last 2 album covers of Esoteric reflect very well the complexity (as in amount of instrumental layers) in their music.
