there are no airports in the area we fly the RC planes.
the RC plane flies very fast, we measured 200 Km/h in a straight fly by with a GPS. i think that in dives like in the video it got to much higher speeds & much faster than a Cessna 172.
I was asking my self the same question when I was with him. I guess he has a very good eye site since I couldn't see the plane at those heights. He is also a very experienced flier.
As you can see in the video there are times he goes in to a spin, that is when he losses eye contact with the plane & spinning takes the plane down & creates a reflection from the sun so it is easy to detect it once again.
In 6:01 minutes into the video you can see a real Cessna flying under the RC plane.
HAHAHAHA, you should of flew next to the guy in the real plane. He woulda been like W.T.F is that a mini pilot in a mini airplane?
