For me it's a choice between this guitar, and a jackson rhoads v 7 with duncan designed Pickups, a bolt on neck, and some badass looking steel (pickguard, back) from the previous owner. Upon purchase of both of these, I would immediately swap out the pickups and pots, and put in a killswitch (button). I'm a relatively versatile player. I play everything from bruce springsteen to Arch enemy. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Does Ibanez have a 7 string in neck thru other than the Xiphos? Their website isn't that helpful.

I am desperate to get this guitar but I've never played a seven string. How hard is it to get used to from a six?

@freakfreak12345 Well for me it took about two weeks to fully get used to it. this video was about 5 days after i got it and i was already pretty used to it. its first getting your hands used to the bigger neck. it doesnt seem much bigger but the first time you play it its like an entirely different instrument haha. Then there is getting your mind used to it and being able to know where to go with the extra string being included. But it doesnt take that long at all atleast for me.

@EvanJordon exactly what he said was the same for me as well. It's the mental thing. The ibanez wizard necks are awesome and easy to get used to vs other 7's like schecters with longer scale and basball bat neck. Throw some active duncans and thicker guage strings for drop tuning and imo the 7321 is the best deal for new 7's

@TheLolthazun yup. theyre not the greatest pickups on the earth but they get the job done. theyre a tad buzzy.
