  • Adriiiiiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That guitar just got adrianbellewed...

  • I first saw HOME OF THE BRAVE when I got cable for the first time on Bravo in 1985. Later, in '86, VH1 showed the video to "Language Is A Virus" (A line from a William S. Burroughs piece I believe). This is one of the best concert flicks I've seen in a long time. Mainstream audiences don't get her, and admittedly she's a bit on the cerebral side, but that's what I love about her, and HOME OF THE BRAVE! Something to make one think!

  • Laurie has the most original, inspiring ground breaking sense of rhythm i've ever heard... still feels like new.

  • great track, i just like the looped sound that repeats all the way through

  • This was such an incredibly tight band - throughout this entire concert! First saw it (and recorded it!) when MTV or Much Music broadcast it MANY years ago.

    Masterful! Thanks for posting.

  • Mouth, horse, hand, fish, bird and eye.

  • In the summer of '98, a friend showed me this video. Not long after, I opened my band's set by doing to my bass what Belew did to his guitar. Everybody in the bar stopped what they were doing and stared at me in disgust. Thanks Adrian and Laurie for the inspiration and thanks Stockhausen for posting this!

  • David Van Teigham and Joy Askew are no slouchs either.

  • Laurie where are u?

  • Is there nothing Adrian Belew can't or will not do with his guitar? This is completely sublime.

It baffles me how Laurie manages to organise and realise all her ideas.
