  • This is the epic version of Crysis but with more distruction etc

  • I'm sorry for starting an argument, crysis is the best stand alone fps. Half life 2 is the best FPS of all time. But this includes Valve awesomeness, the community, the mods, and everything about the source engine. But just hl2 alone is nothing compared to crysis. And I know crysis has some kick ass mods as well. But I think hl2 is more legendary.

  • crysis not is one of best...

    IS THE BEST FPS,GRAPHCS,...

  • 3 1/2 years ago lol...go CRYSIS 2

  • THE GAME IS FUCKING NICE

with all the guns and graphics

    nice vid

  • You Got this from EA? I got It From EB for 25$ i dont know how a awesome game is really cheap although it was made A few years ago and not much people Bought it Due To expensive Price.

  • this looks 10 times better then crysis 2 lol

  • wow get with the times people! get a 360 or a ps3. worried bout hardware on computers just for a damn game is silly and ridiculous. plus consoles are much better

  • @heat4yoass If by "Consoles are much better", you mean "Consoles are stuck with dated hardware and inferior graphical capabilities, not to mention lazy developers looking for a quick cow to milk with minimal effort", then yeah, I get your point.

Modern Warfare 2, Halo series, both overrated and trashy console kid games.

Get with the times kid, just because PC gaming takes an investment and a brain doesn't mean that it's not worth the hassle when a true gem comes around.

  • @Foxxie0kun

No, actually I mean the hardware are meant for gaming in general, hence the name "game console". Whereas for PC, you either buy a brand new gaming console for up to near 2000 for a new one and 1000-1500 for a decent used one, paying as much for barebone when both or dare I see, even 360 or ps3 has the better hardware to withstand games. Well, I take that back, fuck microsoft. 360 sucks ass.

  • @heat4yoass Just because it's meant exclusively for gaming doesn't mean it's superior.

That's like saying a kitchen appliance that does one thing poorly is better than one that does 15 things very well.

And game consoles are HARDLY for exclusive gaming. Web browsers allow for more, and more people use their consoles for multiple things, like movies and social networking via said web browsers.

Console specializes in doing one thing "okay", while PCs excel in all that they do.

  • @heat4yoass Not to mention the fact that a very good gaming computer with modern parts (I say "Modern", not "Bleeding Edge" or "Intel brand") will run you less than $1k if you know what the hell you're doing. Sure, buying a premade one nets you a half-decent rig, but the pre-built ones are plagued with inferior hardware and almost double (Or triple) the price.

I just got a new Dual Core with unlockable cores for under $100, meaning a quad for the price of a duo AMD brand chip.

  • @Foxxie0kun

HA! Wake me up when your video card stops overclocking due to excessive use or too much graphics for the computer to handle, or all the prerequisites in order to game on a pc, or going through countless hardware because something got fried. I haven't had one problem with my ps3 and I play the hell out of it everyday. Although my xbox 360 took a dump on me about 3 times but that's because, well it's microsoft and microsoft sucks major cack!

  • @heat4yoass You never have to OC anything if you know what you're doing.

Even if you DO OC something, if you know what you're doing you'll shave maybe a month off the lifetime of your card or CPU, tops. Too many idiots try to bump things up double-speed, which will ruin it no doubt.

And "excessive use" is running crysis at max 24/7 for 6 months straight. It doesn't happen kid.

Heck, I upgrade one part for less than $100, and I've got a rig that kicks Sony's ass. PS3? Naw, it's PC.

    Nice try.

  • i need to get this before the 2nd one comes out but i need to upgrade my graphics card 1rst coz all i can run is C&C:red alert 3 and HALF-LIFE DM (and plus itz the only 2 pc games i got)

  • crap analysis, crap detail, crap(no HD),

    good CRYSIS 2

  • The 220 is able to run Crysis, so I think the 230 can run it too...

  • lols brand new crysis video *scrolls down* 2 years ago

  • @macantinas rite now 4 years

  • Very nice video... I just bought a 18.4 Acer gonna give it a go tomorow...

  • AMD PHENOM X3 720,MBD GYGABITE MA770-UD3,POWER COLOR ATI RADEON HD 4850 512MB DDR3.MEM 2X2GB KINGSTON CL6,HDD 640 GB WD BLUE CAVIAR SATA.This is my comp is it good?but sometimes crysis lags,is this because the comp or game?

  • game..

  • game.

  • CAPS

  • ?????

  • your comment about your computer spec was all in caps which i felt was unesscary

  • Well i need to put my spec if i want eny help i just wrote that info of my computers card..i dont know anything about comps i just play games :D

  • ohhhhhh CAPS as in caps lock, sorry im from Serbia i did not know what you ment with caps lol ;D

  • this is the blowing shit up trailer?

I'd buy it because of this.

  • Gaming.

    Laptop.

    Pick one.

  • i love love love love crysis my very game

  • I <3 Crysis! ! one of the best FPS ever! !

  • @Kiryutka22 correctumundo

  • 1:05 that never happen to me. Why is that?

    and 1:12-1:17 not in-game scenes

  • map editor

  • well heres an intentionally poorly programmed game

  • Wait a sec, i believe this of the best programmed games out & is truly awesome, almost everything new works with it. Many other games have bugs but this keeps going for me. NVIDIA 3d vision works, new drivers, all g-cards etc. etc. this is a game that has taken years to produce for a reason, because it just works! - and a question from you... have you actually got it and played it?? or used their sandbox editor. Christ, this game has the equation for gravity and air resistance built into it!

  • Amazing!!!

You trying to act like you know about programming!!!!

LEt me guess, you are a pro-grammer?

  • Man it shall take even the last breath of the ps3 and x360 to run this on medium like cryengine 3 does. I wanna play on pc, because its the best plataform for fps by far and the graphics make me say "Ohhhh" everytime I grab a north korean guy and use him as a shield.

  • this game is the shit! love it, can't wait until they add it to console, despite the graphics

  • Can an AMD Phenom II X4 black edition run crysis maximum settings with no lag?

  • why do people buy phenoms?! intel quads are much faster and even cheaper...

well anyway... also depends on your other hardware. u need a good grafic card for that...

but if uve got good hardware your amd should be able to make it... well... my amd x2 6000+ used to make it on high settings... the quads are even much faster... especially the intel quads ;)

  • Phenom II 965 BE is faster than any C2Q.

  • could be... but all in all the intel quads are faster and cheaper... at least thats what they were when they came out.

  • The fastest C2Q costs more than Phenom II 965 BE and is slower than AMD's. Also why would anyone buy socket 775 anymore because it has only DDR2 memory? I mean if you buy new computer parts now there is no sense buying DDR2 for the future.

  • yeah thats right...

  • I don't think ANY PC can run Crysis with ALL maximum settings without any kind of lag.

  • yeah thats damn true :D

  • It can be done now my friend :)

  • mine can

  • Really? I wanna know your specs! :D Not that I'm sceptic.

  • i just got a new computer 2 weeks ago and the specs are

    intel core i7 extreme 3.20GHz

    12GB(6x2GB) memory

    Geforce Nvidia GTX295

    1000GB ATA hard drive

  • Nice!

  • I agree! :) still a pretty fun game btw.

  • I think that maybe on 2 radeon 4890 x2 or nvidia 295 x2 sli can, it depends on the resolution and what you call lag, sometimes everygame freezes for one second and it happens even with age of empires 2 that I still play cause its fun. Off course with a corei7 but a pc like this isnt worth it, it will stop working fine in 2 years like any other pc.

  • yer you can,.....but you would need at least £5000 to get it up to speck, you would have to have like no bigger than a 15 or 16 inch screen, 2x gtx 295's, an EVGA motherboard, quad core procesor, water cooling, and thats about it....NO LAGG.

  • you kidding me? uhm no.. get an i7, a pair of 295's and you easily max it out @ 1080p

  • 2 gtx's suck ass better to get 3 gtx 285's, runs faster.

  • ok asshole

  • Or considering the current price drop just get two 4870 X2s. They'll play the game maxed at any resolution.

Or get a 5870. That will perform as well as a 4870 X2.

  • No 2 gtx 295's run like crap, just look at a benchmark. 3 gtx 285's run at like 60 fps on very high 1920x1200 4x aa. The minimum to run crysis on very high at 1920x1200 is one gtx 285 if you want to play at +30 fps, or one gtx 295 to play in the 40s.

  • Maybe if you buy prebuilt.

  • Comment removed

  • £5000? Epic fail. You can make a gaming computer for under £1000 that will max it out at 900p. Put the budget up to £2000 and you're cracking at 1200p and beyond. (i7 920, and two 4870 X2 cards, probably won't even come close to £2000 nowadays.)

My frigging LAPTOP plays it maxed on 900p, and it was £1400.

Oh, and the base i7 920 2.66GHz can be overclocked to 4GHz on air cooling. Some have pushed it even further than that.

  • so your laptop plays it @ 1920 x 1080 AAx 16Q AFx16 DX10?

    no fucking way...

and please explain to me what 900p and 1200p is...

  • 900p=1440x900 resolution.

    1200p=1980x1200 resolution.

No, my laptop doesn't play it with AA, AF or DX10, because they make virtually NO difference whatsoever to the visual quality. (And no, I'm not lying.)

It does on the other hand run it maxed out, DX9, no AA or AF, at 1440x900. Which is not bad for £1400.

There are, believe it or not, laptops out there that will play it averaging 30fps @ 1920x1200 while maxed out, DX10, even if no AA or AF.

  • I know there are beastly laptops out there, only thing is they are almost as expensive as a good desktop gaming rig,

thought you where talking about HD resolutions, in that case there are no such others than 720 and 1080..my fault..

Imo AA and AF make a huge difference to image quality, if you play at a normal res of around 1280 @ 1024 AA makes a huge difference...

  • Yeah, they do get really expensive, that's true.

Technically '900p' and '1200p' are HD resolutions too. What 720p is is 1280x720, likewise 1080p is 1920x1080. (At least I think 720p is 1280x720, might be 1440x720 or something like that)

AA and AF don't make a huge difference to image quality in Crysis, and at higher resolutions especially not. Crysis has EdgeAA on all the time to make foliage look better, whether or not you have normal AA on anyway.

  • 720p is 1280 x 720 youre right..

try r_useedgeAA 2 in crysis to make the edgeAA better ;)

then i agree, to play smoothly edgeAA 2 is better than FSAA..

  • That's why I don't put FSAA on in Crysis. Kills the framerate, and not as good as EdgeAA :)

Thanks I'll try that command then sometime.

  • yes i have it and it runs fine dude, only worried about the grapic card

  • no u need 2 in crossfire

  • is this for 360?

  • no, its for the best, pc.

  • I can play Crysis on a PC with ATI Radion 4890 right? i think it should easily do it, but im not great with cimputers tbh

  • lol yeh, it'll be fine - as long as you have a decent amount of RAM and a processor that doesn't bottleneck.

  • yea, im using 4870 and I can get medium

  • on my ATI 4850 it runs at "very high" with 35fps ;-)

Crysis is a really good game! one of my favorite games!

  • but the engine doesn't scale, it's pathetic.

  • I could run this no problem with an Alienware laptop with a 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 9800M GT, right?

  • probably not max, but yes.

  • Right... that kinda sucks, but alright. Thanks for the comment.

  • hey fellas, if I put in a GTX 295 I'll need a 700 watt PSU, but with a 1.8Ghz AMD quad core Phenom, and 4 GB Ram, how will it play?????

  • it might

  • very high

  • you should be able to play that on max detail and resolution, as i can play on 1600 res and max detail on an overclocked 280, i just turned anti aliasing down, soi doubt you will have a problem, besides u dont need a.a at that res.

  • Can someone tell me where he is at 1:05?

  • this footage is pre-alpha and it looked better back then. they had to tone it down a little to make it run on parts that were not too expensive. they could probably bring back the old look now that good parts for computers are not as expensive, but there are still the expensive, over the top parts.

  • thats the secound last mission this is not real gameplay, its only from the beta ^^

  • can i run this game on a geforce 7800 gs and a processor that runs at 2.26?!

  • probably, my mate runs it on realy low settings on the shittest laptop ever

  • good, i have a good pc but im afraid ill pay 30 bucks for a game that wont work on my pc!!

  • sorry read a few reviews, looks like my graphics cards suck ass, but anyone still know how it'll fare? i know ati is shit compared to nvidia, but my friend gave me his pc, anyone got any clues?

  • what about crossfire x 3870 512mb x2, 4gb of ram, and 3.1ghz dual core? just curious to whether i should expect flawless graphics or imperfect ...

  • dude. Are you kidding me? You won't run it on highest settings @ 22 inch resolution on anything less than GTX 295, GTX 280 sli, 275 sli, 260 sli Plus ATI cards run this game like crap, especially in crossfire compared to an sli of equivalent cards.

  • not true

i did it on an 8800gtx

  • ive played Crysis on Gigabyte Geforce 8800 GTS 512 And Intel Dual Core.3.0 GHZ And I had Terrible Framerate sometimes about 22 18 fps...I should you buy Intel Core 2 Quad Q5500 2.66 GHZ...And I have about 36 and somtimes 27,28 .. and Remember that Crysis Isn't Only Video Card Eater And Even Proccesor eater

  • Nevermind i fixed it.

  • Ive got a small problem with Crysis, when i start it up it it goes through the nvida crytek etc videos, then i get a grey radar that covers the whole screen and a green cursor? it looks the menu is supposed to be there ? btw its downloaded from torrent, but its clean

  • Go buy the game

  • i have 9800GTX+

    4 GB RAM

    3.2 GHZ PROCESSOR INTEL E8500

CAN I RUN LIKE THIS VIDEO IN 1024*1280 ??

  • no, its not enough. get at least 9800 gtx tri sli, im using 9800gtx+ last time and its very laggy in ultra settings, mate, get yourself a GTX 285 Tri-SLI, that should do the trick

  • you don't even need that, I'm sure two or even one GTX 285 would do the trick on ultra high and a decent resolution.

  • definately not, you could run it on the second highest settings though, which still looks better than most games these days.

  • is ultra and very high the same thing?

  • I got a

    Intel Quad 3.00 GHz

    XFX GeForce 9800GT

    4 Gig ram

    on vista

can i drive Crysis on ultra ?

  • uhh no you can't i even can't do it with my gtx 260

and you can do it but with very low fps :P

  • uhh wtf, what you mean you cant on ultra..i do and i have a 9500gt gddr3, 600 core, 1000mem. clocks. with a pentium dual core at 2ghz, i get 27fps max and 24 lowest possible. thats very playable..right around a console such as ps3's fps.

  • if you close your eyes click your heels 3 times and say "i want to run crysis on ultra" then mabey...... just mabey...

  • ya i have pretty much the same setup but maby not ultra

  • sure you can! i will just be veeeeeery laggy :)

  • YES you can -.-

my friend has a gtx 285 pentium dualcore 2.2 ghz 3gb ram and he gets 40-50 on ultra.

  • i have a laptop dv4 1125 nr hp 4 gigas of ram can i play this game on my laptop?//

  • brand new,. this video is 2 years old you jerk!

  • lol ditto

  • It was posted 2 years ago, you jerk!

  • this game is awsome but a bit short...

  • I think real crysis version is better that this crysis beta

  • Whats name of this crysis version? Where can i get it? I got crysis and crysis warhead, and it doesnt look like this

  • This is the beta version of Crysis, the graphics were simpler and ragdolls were lighter. You could also hit dead bodies. You can't get it anymore :D sry

  • u can find first trailer from crysis 2, just search in youtube

  • Crysis 2?

  • thats crysis looks like this trailer of crysis 2 ;D

  • crysis is the sickes game ever ist just awesome :D

  • the game dosen't look like that:(

    but still 9/10

  • Yeah.., about 9.2 / 10

  • I have Nvidia 8600 GT with 2,66 Ghz intel core 2 duo and 2 GB ram and This game works fine on medium (can't go higher) and rezolution to 1280 by 1024 ;) or something like that ;)

  • xD ow ok.. well.. the 8600 GT is crap too.. i wouldnt do that

  • Go with a Full Intel X-58 motherboard,

    Intel Core i7

    6GB RAM triple channel

    and videocard..

    GTX280 or ATI 4870.. or 4870x2

    GTX285... or GTX 295

by XFX EVGA MSI.. or ASUS..

  • Becuase we all have $3,000 to burn.

Get something a little more practical, like an nVidia 8600GT, Core 2 Duo with at least 3.5GHz (combined), and around 4GB of RAM.

Motherboard's aren't extremely helpful while gaming, but just in-case I'll get an nVidia 750i.

  • Hell no. 8600GT plays it low/medium

  • i have a Nvidia 9400GT GeForce graphics card and a i just ordered a AMD X2 64 Athlon 5200 dual core 2.7GHz processor will this play crysis?

  • medium detail at a medium resolution should be playable

  • Are u serious? a Nvidia 9400GT? thats a low crap videocard! together with that AMD X2 Cpu..u wont get Crysis any higher than on Low settings and 1024x768 resolution.

Ur 9400GT has only 16 sp's with 8 texture units and 4 rendering output units what gives it a very low Bandwidth.

It doesnt matter if u have 256, 512, 1024 of mb... ur GPU is just too slow.

Even with that low setting u wont be able too play crysis on normal framerates. Sorry but u rly need to buy better stuff.

  • so i would need to buy a new graphics card? which would good to buy?

  • and besides i went to a site called "system requirements lab" where they test ur computer to see what games ur able to play and it said my graphics card is fine on recommended parts it says it says everything is fine for my comp except i dont have the AMD 5200 yet but getting it today though, and the recommended wants a 4400 or better Athlon an im getting a 5200 just saying it states that i can play on the recommended section an not minimum i'll make a video or something to show what i mean.

  • WHAHAHAHAHA LOL, so u believe that site? u know what?

Go and buy Crysis, and check out for urself. if u think ur able too play Crysis on Medium or higher settings, than talk too me again. Otherwise, just shut up. Cause u WILL find out that ur 9400GT is a crap card. u cant deny the fact that it has only 16 streamprocessors too render the game..and that wont be enough..no matter how much RAM or how fast ur CPU is. it just wont play right. find out!

  • hey no need to get fucking rude! then tell me which card i would need to get in order to play it?

  • I got a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 with 2 x 2.6 GHz and a Nvidia 9500GT geforce and it works at 1280 x 1024 with full settings, GDDR 3 and 512mb

  • really awesome! i havent got a chance to get my 5200 installed yet or my comp overclocked by friend because of a family cysis but soon i'll have the game.

  • heheeh, Crisis.

  • is crysis on ps3

  • no..

  • No, but there are tons of rumors that crytek is making a similar game for the PS3.

  • my graphics card looks like a racing car :)

  • Super game, played the one breathing, in spite of that began enough boring.

  • i also ran a resolution of 1400x900..i dont know why ppl say you need a quad core or someting, its not necessary.

  • a single core will do as long as u have a nice graphic card thou dual would do better

  • does crysis come with that editor thing?cause i got warhead and it doesnt come with shit-_-.I KNOW ITS AN EXPANSION!DOESNT MEAN THEY HAD TO LEAVETHE EDITOR OUT!

  • search the disk, the editor does not install automaticly.

  • You mean SandBox? It probably will.

  • The minimum requirements to really play the game with 30fps and settings on high (not on very high) is a quad core,2 gigs of ram and a 8800gt and still the fps suck...i believe that pc's in year will really do it

  • Not exactly true. A dual core CPU can handle Crysis well enough for sure. Especially at 30 FPS. An 8800GT is probably the minimum to get decent framerates with High settings. Anything less is going to cut into the gameplay (unless you're willing to sacrifice the visual goodies). I have an E6550 and a 9800GT and I can run Crysis on high settings at 1280x960 (no AA) with about 40 to 50 FPS easy. About 90% of the campaign was without a little lag when I played through.

  • you dont even need that, i run it with a Pentium dual core at 2ghz, 2 gig ram, and an xfx nvidia 9500gt. i ran all settings on very high the whole game with no lag what so ever, no matter what i did. i was disappointed that this game was so short though.

  • what specs do you need to play this?

  • windows xp/vista, processor :2.8 for XP, 3.2 for vista, 1GB Ram, video card 256++

  • Thats all you need to play this game? Whats the hype about then? 1gb ram? What kind of ram? do you even know what your talking about?

  • he does not...that is the "OFFICIAL REQUIREMENTS" which will allow the game to enter into the menu and "start" the game but you will get crap fps. I have figured out that the requirments to run the game with good fps (30 fps) you need 2gb ram (or more) a 8600gt/gs/gts a P4 3.0ghz (or Core 2 duo 2.0 ghz) and the whole 256mb gfx is not true you only NEED 128mb

  • thats the requirements on the back of the DVD 256mb gfx

  • I dont care what it says on the back...my old P.4 had a ATI 9700 128mb and 128bit and 2gb DDR ram and it played crysis on lowest with 25 fps avg...so I would say that 128mb plays the game just fine

  • the screen when u choose maximum anything it doesnt look like that neither the bottom left

  • Crytek has made a great engine for making vids like these.

  • i have that game it ownes moahahahhaha:P

  • I´m seeing on the choosing nanoabilities and its features is different than my.Can it be langague thing?

  • No, the ones in this video are old.

  • what the fuck, y is this gameplay different than the crysis now. for example, the suit modes here are more effective. in maxiumum strength u send guys flying but in the crysis now u cant do stuff like that. in maxiumum speed, ur were able to go faster in this version. why the fuck did they change it, this version is so much better!!!!!!?!, and the game looks more realistc. explosion and what have you. the suit mode menu loooks better in this one too. overall, its better in this one. Y CHANGE IT?

  • that is just so frikkin' awesome

  • how can i get this crysis mod? thats a another crysis??????

  • that is not another crysis that is a video they made before crysis came out

  • if i could run it like that i would cry

  • you can run it in a high speed!

  • Can I run Crysis?

    Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (3.16GHz)

    64 bit Dual Core Processor

    4GB DDR2-800

NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 512MB Video Card

  • no you cant just cause u asked a dumb question

  • Duh yes, highest settings on about 30 40 fps
