@EdzieProv I agree! I was there as well. What a loud fun night that was. I go to P-Bruins games every season and that 1 night was the one I will always remember.

Boy there are a lot of videos of the Amerks losing in the Finals on youtube. Truth be told they have been the runner up numerous, numerous times. 1984, 1990, 1991, 1993, 1999, 2000........just off the top of my head.

By the way this Providence team was one of the best AHL teams I have ever seen. The Amerks were really, really good this year (Brian Campbell, Marty Biron to name a few) and the Bruins just rolled them.

Oh well, part of their rich tradition.

to be perfectly honest, it was great to see that when the bruins didnt succeed at a higher level, there were fans there to cheer everyone on in the AHL. i mean, have you really ever seen a minor league hockey rink rock like this? great stuff.
