  • nice this song is very spiritual, make my hair stand on end

I will tour USA on a mo bike this Spring

  • @stuarth43 I have always felt the same way about this song. Sounds like a great cruise this summer for you, enjoy. We stopped in Sturgis last summer a week before the event. I wouldn't go near there during.

  • A song about a song-----not the scenes I expected to see but a nice touch. Thanks for posting this!

  • @Tumbipungi Thanks. Yeah, had to settle for the southern tier of NY for this one but the sky was just right.

  • Sing it Marty !!!! Good taste in music buddy

  • @PoboyNCoke can't go wrong with Marty. Gunfighter Ballads may be my favorite album of all time.

  • Driving around New York State, yet dreaming about the Old West, were you?

    Good quality video, too!

  • I thought that el paso had a very dry brownish vegetation, this is quite green...

  • @edineujunior that is because this video was taken in upstate New York.

  • @vbdenny oh

  • Can this be for real ? so amazing scenery with such music from the voice of a man who meant so much to music of his time, LONG LIVE HIS MUSIC

  • @calioti I must agree in full with all you said. The sky that day just seemed perfect for this song. Thanks

  • I love this song. Marty,Merle, and Waylon. My favorite highway travelling listening music.

  • wait...how are you taking the video??while driving...

  • @yelome04 It's pretty easy actually. I hold my 6oz. camera in one hand and steer with the other. Easier than drinking coffee, holding the phone or even smoking. Most people drive with one hand most of the time anyway. Must easier than driving with other people, especially kids, in a car.

  • thank you so much for sharing this..I am so drunk right now...bummin over a bad deal. but, thank you...I will get over the drunk part....I love Marty. The first song then this one. Your video is awesome. i miss traveling so...yes..I know, I won't drink and drive...Bad,,,Been there done that...

  • where was this video taken

  • As I said in the video description?, on I-81 near Cortland, NY.

  • Reminds me of when I was 19 years old, playing pinball at the local hangout and feeding quarters in the jukebox, playing this song over and over again!

  • Excellent driving music, just curious what type of car are you driving in the video ?

  • I had to look at it to remember. In this video I had the Corolla.

  • isn't that your daughter's? She won't be happy if she watches this video!

  • my car, my registration and my insurance, I let her use it.

  • oh right. Not easy having a conversation cuz ur about 6 hours behind me. Now it is about 1:15pm! Here, anyway

  • Hmmm, that means it is the middle of the night there now. I guess I could call you and see what happens tomorrow!

  • Yeah, its a bit weird! I normally check my emails just before 9am - when skool starts, but its 3am where you are!

  • yeah man ,marty has is fans in jamaica, infact i am now living in the cayman islands, they have a station by the name of rooster, this station plays only western, marty and all the others

  • I like country as you may have gathered. I usually listen to Outlaw Country on my Sirius satelitte radio, no commercials.

  • when i was a boy in the hills of jamaica i only knew a few words of this song but when i sing the few lines guys my little friends gathered and thought i was just the best

  • Wow, I never expected that Marty Robbin's songs were being sung in Jamaica. That is pretty cool.

  • Have lived in San Antonio, Texas now for 13 years. Am a '89 UTEP graduate and a 1982 Eastwood High graduate. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss my beloved El Paso. You don't realize just how much you miss her until your far away from her. When my wife and daughter go to El Paso for the holidays to see my Pop, Mom and siblings there is nothing more moving for me than seeing the star on Mt. Franklin. Miss you El Paso. Miss you Mom and Dad and miss you dearly. Thanks for the video.

  • Although I have been to Texas, I have never been anywhere close to El Paso. It is on my list. Glad you enjoyed the video.

  • Greetings from El Paso to TheManFromAcme.

  • Nice scenery, it reminds me of Germany. I also like the song :-)

  • I live in El Paso, TX, and I love this video even though it wasn't filmed in El Paso. My Father in Law LOVED Marty Robbins, and he turned me into a true fan as well. He has a great soothing voice, and your video just allows the listener to focus on the song, its words, and the meaning. Good job!

  • this guy this song wow total aroha from the maori race of NZ

  • Thank you for the total aroha, a flashback back to Waitaha times. I had to Google to understand your message and learned something new from you. Marty Robbins was a very interesting singer who touched many peoples hearts.

  • Great video, Great scenery, Great driving,

enjoyed every minute of it, watch it every day. thanks heaps

  • I appreciate your vote of confidence. I also watch it quite often as I love the song and the road.

  • Anytime I drive leisurely out of state, it calms me, because I am away from my everyday routine. Your video, basic as it is, made me feel as if I was in the driver's seat, out-of-state. I watched it with a smile on my face throughout. Thank you.

  • Thank you. I get the same relaxation and the reason I made my videos in the first place was so that I could relive moments in my life, especially driving.

  • Enjoyed the video. I hope you kept your eyes on the road however! What a voice.

  • thanks and yup, two hands on the wheeel, two eyes on the road. Marty Robbins was an incredible singer, one of a kind.

  • Beautiful clear bright blue sky, perfect for driving, hope you had a fantastic day. Take care.

  • thanks. It was beautiful, somewhat typical for upstate New York in the summer. I am relaxing getting ready for the big car show this weekend.
