You will have drive I-10 though the south west badlands along about 3am..... you wont need music will just hear it......... My kids did in 1994, they where 12,10, and 4, it woke them from a sound sleep!
@stuarth43 I have always felt the same way about this song. Sounds like a great cruise this summer for you, enjoy. We stopped in Sturgis last summer a week before the event. I wouldn't go near there during.
@yelome04 It's pretty easy actually. I hold my 6oz. camera in one hand and steer with the other. Easier than drinking coffee, holding the phone or even smoking. Most people drive with one hand most of the time anyway. Must easier than driving with other people, especially kids, in a car.
thank you so much for sharing this..I am so drunk right now...bummin over a bad deal. but, thank you...I will get over the drunk part....I love Marty. The first song then this one. Your video is awesome. i miss traveling so...yes..I know, I won't drink and drive...Bad,,,Been there done that...
Reminds me of when I was 19 years old, playing pinball at the local hangout and feeding quarters in the jukebox, playing this song over and over again!
yeah man ,marty has is fans in jamaica, infact i am now living in the cayman islands, they have a station by the name of rooster, this station plays only western, marty and all the others
when i was a boy in the hills of jamaica i only knew a few words of this song but when i sing the few lines guys my little friends gathered and thought i was just the best
Have lived in San Antonio, Texas now for 13 years. Am a '89 UTEP graduate and a 1982 Eastwood High graduate. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss my beloved El Paso. You don't realize just how much you miss her until your far away from her. When my wife and daughter go to El Paso for the holidays to see my Pop, Mom and siblings there is nothing more moving for me than seeing the star on Mt. Franklin. Miss you El Paso. Miss you Mom and Dad and miss you dearly. Thanks for the video.
I live in El Paso, TX, and I love this video even though it wasn't filmed in El Paso. My Father in Law LOVED Marty Robbins, and he turned me into a true fan as well. He has a great soothing voice, and your video just allows the listener to focus on the song, its words, and the meaning. Good job!
Thank you for the total aroha, a flashback back to Waitaha times. I had to Google to understand your message and learned something new from you. Marty Robbins was a very interesting singer who touched many peoples hearts.
Anytime I drive leisurely out of state, it calms me, because I am away from my everyday routine. Your video, basic as it is, made me feel as if I was in the driver's seat, out-of-state. I watched it with a smile on my face throughout. Thank you.
Thank you. I get the same relaxation and the reason I made my videos in the first place was so that I could relive moments in my life, especially driving.

Wow, I never expected that Marty Robbin's songs were being sung in Jamaica. That is pretty cool.
