The closest QB I can think of to compare Locker to is a young McNabb. Big arm, inconsistent accuracy, and fast enough to bust a move, but he's not explosively fast like Vick. Hopefully he's not injury prone like McNabb, though.

You can pretty much pencil him in as a Seahawk if they have a higher pick though. Not many teams need a QB. Rams, Lions, and Bucs all got a 1st rounder recently. I see him as a Bill or Hawk in 2011, I guess maybe the Browns and Jags are possibilities as well.

@rc49ers53 like i said, when he wasnt there the team went 0-12... and with a new coach and no talent around him beat four ranked teams ( most only remember #3 USC) out of 5 they won. and this was with a new coach and completly different offence (from spread to I-form, and when he was in hs he ran a wing-t) all im saying is if the huskies get a miracle season he WILL win the heisman...buuut you probably dont care lol

@sourkraut92 picking out individual good plays doesn't make a good quarterback. Hey did you see tavita pritchard on 4th and 13 against USC in 2007? Does that make him a good quarterback? Jake Lockers Career Stats=36 TD's and 26 Ints. A horrible TD INT ratio. Against USC where he threw for no touchdowns and no interceptions? Your defense won that game, not Jake Locker. Also, learn how to use commas and periods. Your grammar is like a seventh grader, so is your knowledge of college football.

Also, you can't act like this years upcoming team is that same team. 20 out of 22 of Ty losinghams recruits aren't even on the team anymore. If you think he wouldn't show even more talent on say, Oregon's, Floridas, or even Texas' team you'd be crazy. Who is your team/QB?

People say Luck wouldn't put up numbers without Toby, I think otherwise but I guess we'll have to see. And, people say things about Locker and obviously he has some things to prove. Either way man, we both have 2 badass QB's so why knock Locker? Be happt the Pac-10 is this deep thanks to our 2 QB's. One out of the 2 is supposed to go number 1. Say what you want but they BOTH have talent.

Yep youve really reached the top of the mountain when you finish 4th in your conference...all down hill from there. If you are going to use terms like "promise land" the team you are referring to should at minimum win their conference. Thak said Luck is good... but not near the physical tools that Locker has.

@jackhandy00 Man that 9-28 record since locker stepped foot on washington campus really displays the physical tools that Locker has. When Locker is battling for a third string quarterback and Andrew Luck gets a degree from the Stanford University and leads his team to a rose bowl, we'll see how that promise land taste.

He does however have great physical tools, for you to say otherwise is only evidence of your lack of knowledge on the subject. Playing on a bad team, with a terrible coach does not make you a bad player. I do think that U-dub can reach the historic 8-5 record and mach that great Stanford team in the promise land. Either a good QB can be on a not so good team(Locker and Luck).
