  • remove the adddd !!!!!! selfish

  • it's a great tool, i have one and i use it for Highway Rescue. I love it, seat belt cutter comes open just my hooking it on my turn-out gear. the only problem is the window punch, they used stainless steel and they did a trianguale cut finish on it, causeing it to go dull after only 2 windows (in my case). they need to put out a round type punch for it and it will be top of the charts.

  • surefire e2s executive defender and victorinorx rescue tool. EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE!!!!!!!

  • but this was uploaded in 2009....

  • @DeathMasterAn wow your smart.

  • Hello,

    I have a question:

Will the knife rip your pants pocket if you carry it with you?

because of the window breakers point?

I know you have the special belt holder but still.

    thanks in advance!

  • @manhattenhero

Good question, that part comes off if that starts happening

  • @manhattenhero It shouldn't.. the window breaker point isn't really sharp, it's just a round jutting edge (not like a knife tip) that is for focusing your hands energy into a single point, for smashing through windows, to be able to.. fracture the surface, after the fracture, everything is much easier. Much like how water tension is, glass is much stronger in one piece than having a fracture in it..

    So no.

  • @manhattenhero i think it rips your pockets no more then a key

  • @manhattenhero no,it will not rip your pants.....

  • damn the blades won't lock choose leatherman :)

  • Is it legal to keep in car or carry it with you? The blade is more than 3 inches AND it is a lock-blade knife. Laws in many states prohibit such knifes. Wouldn't these two features get you in trouble w/law enforcement?

  • @ wimpog97

"Many states" I don't think so.. maybe a few states would call a swiss army knife ilegal, but NOT most

ANyway I can not imagine anyone getting in trouble with an emergency knife like this unless they were doing something ilegal with it

  • @GearBuyersGuide It is not about a swiss army knife, emergency knife or your imagination. it is about the law, the fact that this thing has a blade longer than 3 inches AND the blade is a locking blade. Yes, many states prohibit these features. You need to provide an immediate reason for having this, and "just in case" is not nearly good enough.

  • @ wimpog97

Well you got me interested, and it took all of three clicks to find a list of the US states knife laws

    Most = allow knives

Some = add a restriction on length, not many, some

There are a lot of city / county laws that restrict things further than the state would..

So it's not black & white.. I still won't agree that MOST states restrict blade length according to what I found

  • @GearBuyersGuide

Have you checked every single state law and verified that it is not the case in most states?

Besides the blade length there is a locking feature that is also prohibited by some laws.

  • yea, didn't I just say it took like three clicks to find the list..

so assuming the list is correct.. yes

  • @GearBuyersGuide Could you paste a link here? I just want to see that page that lists the knife laws in all states, that took you 3 clicks to find.

  • links don't work in comments, but I opened Google and searched for "US states knife laws" if I remember correctly

The third or fourth result was a nice .pdf with all the states / city laws

  • @GearBuyersGuide Thanks! As far as I'm concerned - it is illegal in MA. Must be non-locking and no more than 2.5".

  • yeah i think this would come in handy, you never know

  • Texas you can carry 5 1/2 fixed or fold.

  • lucky Texans i live in MIchigain

  • @wimpog97 who cares what are the chances of the police pulling you and looking in your glove box

  • @pppaullll considering you have to open your glovebox to get to your license and registration almost everytime.....

  • The seat belt cutter is also good for removing cloths from a victim, to get at the injury to quickly stop bleeding without the cloths getting in your way.

  • Great knife great review just bought one, superb piece of equipment with plenty of uses. I paid 60 euros for it which is ok, i think

  • wow, that is a really interesting tool. My dad is a paramedic so I think he'll be interested in this tool.

Typical swiss army knife, even on a emergency response knife, they include a bottle opener. At least they didn't include a wine cork opener XD

  • what would the nylon cord do?, isnt it one of those twisty ones that you have to have another side to? i did research and theres only that side of it

  • not sure what you are asking

  • good straight forward review and devoid of of any apparent fetish.

  • thanks, this was one of the first reviews we did .. seems like a long time ago

  • hey man you should make more vids this ones really good this is my 5th time watching lol

  • right on.. we have a few more knife reviews ready to go

  • its $90... i dont think id wanna get it. i prefer the originals or multitools.

  • on amazon there selling it for $53 and its 50% off swiss army knives so its really cheap there

  • cool

  • Good point, it's too big for EDC, and the tools are kinda specific. I think it's really made for the EMS market, but you are right it would be good to keep in the car too

  • Seems like a good knife to put in your car.

But I wouldn't want to EDC one.
